A young girl served her today at the juice bar.
She didn’t talk, but her nametag said her name was Greta.
Clutching the freshly poured drink she smiled at Greta.
“Thanks Greta”
She nodded, excepting the money Indi pressed into her palm, she went to hand the doe eyed girl back the dime that she’d placed into it but Indi held her hand up.
“You keep it, it’s a little thing I like to do, you’ll get used too it” She patted Greta’s hand holding the young girls in her own sending the girl with raven plaited hair and brown eyes a smile as I slipped out of the store.
