Personal note: Cali Rayan has kind of taken over geographical knowledge since they started talking about the North. The way she told Ms. Devereux that she needed new maps was quite shocking. It's terrible how many villages have turned into ghost towns.
As you know the North is the territory where most of the rebel bases are located, while there are only four caserns, which is less than in every other territory.
And did you know that the taxes get heavier the further away you are from Daqu? I have to say, when I heard that and controlled it, I could sympathize a tiny bit with the rebels. I have seen what those Northerners earn and how many taxes they have to pay and it is simply disgusting.
You should look it up some time.
