My apologies for this being short. I had an interesting thought. Here it is.
The thing I hate about apocalypse stories is that they make me feel as though I was in an apocalypse and when I look up from my tattered and food stained paper back at the gleaming world around me, I think, "What's this? I've been starved and bombarded with zombies and you jerks have been sitting here the whole time?"
Irritated! That's the word. Apocalypse books leave me feeling irritated and dramatized.
I finished one. I have been gorging myself on books this break. Books leave me feeling so emotional and thoughtful. It's a strange thing.
Thats my thought of the day, tune in next time for awkward tales.
