I have been up three days
Had a lot of redbull

It was hard to sleep, nights were rough. Memories kept flashing in your head. You started having nightmares again, you just wanted to forget everything. Your room was becoming a mess, clothing piles everywhere, along with various cans and cups. You felt like a mess and inside you were one too.

This call is a mistake
There's something strong in this water bottle
I hear you got a new chick
A dancing little Barbie doll
I feel so pathetic
But you still haven't heard it all

Opening up Instagram was a mistake. Pictures of your ex with their* new girlfriend. You were over them, but it still pained you. You felt so stupid, getting played over and over, but you always forgave. You hated how sympathetic you were, but that's what they liked about you, so you kept doing it.

Days went on, still restless. You eventually unfollowed your ex, there was no reason to keep holding on. You were done.

Your confidence was coming back, you started going out more. Your room was cleaner than before, you also had a few outings with some friends. Your life was coming back to normal.

During one of your late night outings, your friends decided to go to a local club. It was dark in some areas, others covered is flashing, multi colored lights. Ordering drinks, you spotted your ex across the dance floor at their own booth, they had their new girl with them.

It didn't bother you, you knew you were better. They kept staring at you, probably expecting you to come over and beg for them back. You then did something that definitely shocked them, you got up and danced. Your friend was with you, anyone who saw you knew you were having a good time.

After clubbing, you went home and took a shower. That was definitely the most fun you've had in a while. You noted to let yourself loose more often. Your phone started to buzz, someone texted you. Unlocking your phone, you saw it was from one of your friend that you danced ( *cough* grinded on) with.

"Hey, tonight was fun. Maybe me and you could hang out sometime."
