Jesse’s POV

I was walking down the Barden path when me and my boys, the Treblemakers, saw a crowd gathered before the library. No doubt, it was the sound of the Bellas performing.

“Let’s crash that party dude!” Donald suggested as he high-fived with Carson.

               “Don’t.” I said.

As the new captain of the Trebles ever since Bumper, the ex-captain, found a gig in Los Angeles, I could only be the one to make decisions and give the orders to anyone.

               “Bummer.” Donald murmured.

I made my way closer and scanned the Bellas one by one as they sang Starships by Nicki Minaj. Everybody was howling and singing along with the song.

I’m on the floor, floor, I love to dance.

So give me more, more, ‘til I can’t stand.

Get on the floor, floor like it’s your last chance.

If you want more, more, then here I am.

And then I saw her. Nobody could miss that long beautiful brown hair and her blue eyes shone in the sunlight. She was wearing black denim jeans and a Beatles navy blue shirt that I once used to love. Her unmistakable voice came floating in the wind as she hit the chorus. I was left desperate to hold her in my arms again. Beca took the stage and moved the crowd with her energy as she always does.

Starships were meant to fly, Hands up and touch the sky

Can’t stop ‘cause we’re so high. Let’s do this one more time

Starships were meant to fly, Hands up and touch the sky

Let’s do this one last time. Can't stop...

I long for the day that we’ll get back together again. We’re perfect for each other. I know that. And I’ll never give up. I won’t allow myself to lose her.

               “Donald!” I called.

“What is it J?” he asked, running towards me holding a can of Coke in his hand. I took it from him and chugged it all the way down.

“What the hell man!? That was mine!”

I grinned. “I think you’re right. We should crash this party right now.”

               “Awesome!” he high-fived me.

We called on the boys and planned on a song to pick.

               “1...2...3...4! I started.

Party rock is in the house tonight, everybody just have a good time

And we gonna make you lose your mind, everybody just have a good time

Everybody cheered louder especially the ladies. The Bellas were completely lost. Aubrey just stood there with her arms crossed and Chloe looked like she was on the verge of crying.

Party rock is in the house tonight, everybody just have a good time

And we gonna make you lose your mind, we just wanna see ya shake that

But of course, Beca looked like she was going to chew my head off. I know Beca and she doesn’t like to lose. One thing’s for sure. We’re going to have a sing off. And so we did. She jumped in front of me and sang:

That's our life, there’s no end in sight

               Twinkle, twinkle little star

Now everybody let me hear you say ray ray ray

Now spend all your money cause today's pay day

               And if you’re a G, you a G, G, G

My name is Onika, you can call me Nicki

               And I sang:

In the club party rock, lookin' for your girl? She on my jock

Nonstop when we in the spot, booty movin' weight like she on the block

Where the drank? I gots to know, tight jeans, tattoo 'cause I'm rock 'n' roll

Half black, half white, domino, game the money, op-a-doe

Yo, I'm runnin' through these ho's like Drano

I got that devilish flow, rock 'n' roll, no halo

We party rock, yeah, that's the crew that I'm reppin'

On the rise to the top, no lead in our zeppelin, hey

I could see a hint of smile playing on her lips as she sang the chorus of Starships again while I jammed with Party Rock Anthem. We ended the show with a bang and the whole Barden was chanting our names like we were rockstars.  We both smiled and started with another song again. It was truly spectacular.
