"Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday To you' she smiled and giggled with joy clapping her hands and dancing around. "Happy Birthday to you" Everyone in the room cheered and I watched as she looked around.
"Boy help her blow them candles" Miss Michelle said pushing my shoulder. I chuckled helping my lil Mal Mal. Showing her what to do together we both blew til every last one was blown. There was cheered once more throughout the room. As I cut the first slice of cake Sherri walked over.
"I'm so about to still my G baby" she said picking up Mal and taking the first sliced cake.
"That's wassup tho I'm fina gone and help Ma around. She nodded her head walking away and I finishes my duty of passing out cake like a lunch lady.

You too headed out" I turned my head to see Miss Michelle poking her head out of the kitchen doorway. I chuckled and nodded my head.
"Yeah ma got to get ready for work and I got somewhere to stop before it's too late" I answered as I zipped Mal's Jacket. She smiled gently cleaning her hands and walked over to me giving me a motherly hug.
"You be careful out there boy you hear me?" She said not letting go. I nodded my head as she let me go, she gave me one last smile before kissing Mallory cheek. She watched as I walked out heading to my car. I quickly fastened lil mama's seat belt and headed to the drivers seat. I looked back at the door of the house getting in the car and waved at Ma. Once she walked away I drive out into the open seat.
"Well Mal let's go see mommy I know she wanna see the birthday girl" moments passed us by and I soon drove through the gates looking around for my first love's home. Finally I came to a stop, after taking the keys out of the ignition I grabbed Mal and headed to her stone. I sat her in the grass and sat next to her. I placed a sunflower down on the stone and looked at my little girl who played with the flowers that surrounded her.
"Hey baby, I missed you" I chuckled. "It's been a whole year shit how did I make it through, I know you been watching me I'm trynna do better for the sake of Mal Mal" I could feel as my face heated up."Man its killing me knowing I ain't got my world beside me" At last the tears escaped rolling down my cheeks. Mallory looked up in confusion and watched as I pained. Although she didnt understand where we were wjy i cry but still she stood to her feet walking in my direction and once she made it she wiped the tears from my face. I chuckled kissing her cheek as I swooped her up while standing up. She only giggled warming my heart. "Man Mo she's amazing, I wish you were her to watch her grow, she almost looks like you just more me" I chuckled looking back at the stone. The sky was turning dark and the clouds were turning grey. "Well baby girl time to say my goodbyes you know I'll be back real soon" I felt as a raindrop hit my shoulder. I started towards the car and quickly I buckled Mallory back into her seat. I took one last glance before settling in my seat. Tuning on the car I turned up the radio that played slow J
Jams and was on my way.

I watched as he drove into the drive way of his home, I smiled watching him pull my sleepy baby out of the car. I know he a strong man and he got this, however I do wish I were there physically to see things we would accomplish. It's okay I'm lucky enough to watch over my loves and that's what makes me happy.
