Aiden.

"What the fuck did you do?" asked Mike.

We were in the car heading to work and I told Mike and Paul what went down last night.

"Well that was a bitch move even for you Aiden." said Paul.

I sighed. He was right.

But she was getting me trust her.

I didn't want to trust any woman.

One killed herself and the other...

Just then my phone rang. I answered it.

"Hello?"

"Aidy..." came a woman's voice.

I let out a groan of frustration.

Well speak of the devil.

Not now...

Not her...

"What the fuck do you want Lia?" I asked, pinching the bridge of my nose for an upcoming headache.

"You want me to handle the bitch?" asked Mike. I shook my head no.

"You already know what I want, or for want of a better word, who I want." she whispered.

"We've been through this Lia and you already know that will not happen, or for want of a better word, never happen. So lose my number and stop stalking me. It's creepy as hell, that's one. Two, I never have nor will I ever love a snake like you."

"But-"

I ended the call, refusing to hear her annoying voice.

"Driver, change of route. Take me to the club."

"As you wish."

"Where are we going?" asked Mike.

"I want to forget everything, especially her."

******************

We were currently sitting in the VIP lounge at the club. We (and I mean I) had way too much to drink and I was saying things I'd never say to anyone out loud.

"Yessss," I slurred, "Lia Anderson, the biggest whore and my ex-girlfriend just called."

Mike fake gasped. "You know when Aiden Martin is totally and utterly high when he starts calling a ho a ho."

"Shut up." I say.

"But I don't get it. Didn't you dump her?" asked Paul.

"Of course not. And why would I? I loved her."

Paul's jaw dropped in shock. Even Mike had nothing to say.

I ignored them. "And she loved me. At least I thought so. But she loved my money, something that I wanted no part of back then..."

I was18 years old and in college. Now for a rich kid, college seemed like the haven of vices. Not for me.

College was that one chance I had to make a name for myself. I was by no means interested in my dad's money, so using the savings Mama had kept for me, I pursued a major in Literature.

Then she came in to my life. I was enchanted by her. Raven black hair, amber eyes, small frame, so shy and so quiet.

She was there on a scholarship. We hit it off and went from friends to lovers.
