Chapter 7

"Good morning Y/N!" Trace flew the door to my room open, giving a huge and excited grin "MERRY CHRISTMAS!" He ran In with a large red sack over his shoulder that's full of many different boxes.
I groan rub my eyes while lazily sitting up, my eyes desperately trying to stay closed "It's morning already?" I grumble and blink a few times, running my hand through my h/c bangs to pull it back.
"Deck the halls with balls of jolly!" Trace sang while taking out a few presents and placing them at the edge of my bed "Thanks for being an awesome friend y/n" he said softly while smiling up at me, placing the last present down before picking his half full red sack back up. There's 4 wrapped different sized boxes with cute red goes tied on each one of them, they all have sparkles and jewels sprinkled on top. "Aww," I smile and look over to him, throwing my blanket so I can hop out of bed with my Christmas themed PJs, pulling him into a big and tight hug "Thank you, Trace"
"Heh.. N-no problem y/n," He gave me a just as tight hug back while smiling, his head snuggling on my shoulder "I lo-" He coughed "-Look.. cool right?" He softly pulled away from the hug with his face turning dark red as he stutters for words.
"Yeah.." I raise an eyebrow and chuckle, he's wearing a baggy santa costume with a cute fake white beard and large Santa hat on his head, making his blond hair messy and sticking out in different directions from underneath.
"Thank you" He grinned as his face slowly went back to its normal color, his cute gapped teeth showing from grinning.
"Oh! I got you a present too, hold on" I run over to my closet and start digging through it, tossing some clothes before I finally find the small wrapped present with a f/c bow on the top, the wrapping is f/c with white hearts on it.
Trace gasped as he walked over to examine it while I pick it up "Really?!" He jumped excitedly while grinning even wider "This is so exciting! I've never got a present from a friend before"
"Here," I hand the present to him and softly smile as he stared down with it with his eyes sparkling in happiness "I hope you like it."
He looked up at me with tears forming in his large eyes, his hands lightly trembling, he looks like he's going to explode soon; he leapt into my arms so he could plow me with a big tight hug, his arms around my neck while he stood on his tip toes "Thank you thank you thank you!" He yelled right in my ears while jumping up and down with me. I giggle while stumbling a bit while returning the hug "No problem" I grin and hold him closer to me, feeling his fake beard tickle my neck.
"I love you" He said with a soft and innocent tone, his warmth heating me up even more as I blush darkly and state at the wall in front of us, my eyes widening as soon as his words process through my head. He immediately pulled away and stared at me with worried eyes "I-I.. I mean.. Uh" his eyes darted around the room as his face turned completely red, clutching the present close to his chest. I could feel my heart beating against my chest at a fast pace as I try to speak by opening my mouth, but only a few weird noises end up escaping my throat.
He sighed and looked down to his feet while deeply frowning "Its okay if you hate me now.."
"I don't!" I blurt out while taking a step closer to him, placing my hands on his shoulder so I could get him to look up at me "Trace, I.. I never knew you felt that way," My blush darkens once he looks up at me with the most innocent look I've ever seen "I love you too" I softly smile and pull him in for another tight hug. He deeply gasped as his body tensed, moving his head so he could look at me with sparkling eyes, his freckled cheeks now tainted with pink "Really?!"
"Yes, really" I smile while looking back at him, not even noticing how close our faces are.
"I love you I love you, I love you!" He jumped a few times with me in his arms, jiggling me around in the process.
I giggle and wait for him to calm down, happily sighing "Merry Christmas"
