// I really need to stop writing so late at night 😅 //

Another day with Plankton

"I hate this idea." Plankton spoke in a monotone voice as he crossed his arms.
"Shh" I whisper as I softly push him closer to the door.
He groaned, "Don't make me do this."
Trace whisper-yelled from his work station "I believe in you."
Plankton turned the door handle as he let out a loud defeated sigh, "Fine." He walks into the room then closes the door behind him. I could hear Mr.Kabs yelling from inside. Plankton starts yelling back defensively. I put my ear against the door so I could eavesdrop.
"Just shut up for once and let me talk." Plankton exclaimed over Mr.Kabs' yelling.
Trace peaked his head through the small window behind the cashier "What're they saying?"
I hold my finger up to shush him.
"I.. Want a truce." Plankton sighed.
"A wha-?!" Mr.Kabs yelled.
"I'm tired of failing.. Over and over. I'm done fighting." Plankton spoke.
"This is another one of your tricks isn't it?" Mr.Kabs spoke suspiciously.
"Nope." Plankton said.
"How am I supposed to trust you?" I could hear Mr.Kabs walking closer to the door, where Plankton is.
"Be-" I get interrupted by someone talking from behind me.
"Excuse me." Someone repeatedly poked my shoulder until I turned around to face them. Its a costumer.
"Yes?" I manage a small smile as I straighten my back and clear my throat.
"I need help with the ice machine. I dont think its working." He lazily spoke as he pointed to the machine.
"WHAT?!" Trace screamed from inside the kitchen. He was obviously eavesdropping.
He ran through the doors of the kitchen and over to the ice machine, his eyes watering as he pressed the button.
It made a strange rumbling noise, but nothing came out.
"NOOO" Trace fell onto his knees "WHYYY?!"

//Anyone remember that episode?//

I run over to him and holding his shoulders, "It's okay, Trace" I nervously pat his back.
Trace sobbed as he sniffled "It's broken"
I opened my mouth to say something but someone slammed the door open, startling both me and Trace.
"FINE. I DIDN'T WANT A TRUCE ANYWAYS!" Plankton yelled as he stomped through the restaurant, forcefully pushing the door open so he could leave.
I groan as I rest my head on Trace' back.
'It didn't work'

After work

I hurry through the door and wave goodbye to Trace //I almost wrote Truce// "Bye!"
He waved back "Bye y/n! See you later."
Trace always works late, until the restaurant closes. Which is at around 6 PM. I don't know how he could work for so long.
I walk across the street and knock on Planktons front door. Whistling as I wait for him to answer.
"What." Plankton spoke as he got closer to the door.
"It's y/n," I call out.
"I know." He opened the door with his usual grouchy expression "Who else would it be?"
"Santa Claus?" I give him a quirky smile as I walk in.
"I'm on the naughty list. Remember?" He spoke with a serious tone.
I hold in my laughter, "Yeah, I remember. Sorry."
The people here all believe in santa Claus, apparently he came one christmas and handed out gifts to the entire town.
I wasn't there for it though, so I can't tell if it's true or not.
"Why're you here?" He walked over to his science station so he could continue working on some new machine.
"I wanted to check on you," I follow him "See if you were okay."
His face turned a light shade of red as he softly huffed his cheeks, "I'm fine."
"Sorry things didn't work out." I slightly frown.
"I said I'm fine." He repeated as he turned to grab a glass tube filled with purple liquid.
"Okay okay," I speak defensively "Sorry."
"Stop apologizing." Pankton poured the liquid into a larger tube as he spoke.
"Sorr-" He lifted his eye(s) to give me a death glare. Scaring the living poop out of me, making me cut off my sentence with a nervous grin.
