Alec and clary

Chapter 6

A/N: if you read the other story called clary and Alec then this is just continuing that story. I got a new phone and forgot my password for Wattpad so that's why I'm writing it on this account.

I suddenly felt tears forming in my eyes as Alec looked up at me. I couldn't stand being in there so I just ran outside. "Clary wait" I heard Alec say as he followed me outside.

"Are you ok, clary?" Alec asked me. 
"Yeah"I sigh. "well you didn't look so good inside" Alec replied. "I said I'm fine so , please, leave me alone" I said kinda rudely hoping he would get the hint that I don't want him near.
"Fine, I can't believe I even thought about becoming friends with you. Ever since you got here you have done nothing but cause problems. Half of the time we have to end up solving your little immature problems about how you can't find your mom and that Valentine and Sebastian are after you. And not to mention you're the reason that jace is dead."
Wow, I thought to myself. So that's how he really feels. Well I don't care because I don't need him to help me. I am more than capable of finding my mom on my own. Then I can go back to my old life and I'll never have to see him again. I glare at him and he returns the glare. "You know, you don't have to help me and I don't need you to. I can do this on my own. And also don't even think about blaming me for his death. I didn't ask him to go after me, that was his own choice. He chose to go and he knew the consequences. I also didn't see you try and do anything to stop him. So, therefore, it is not my fault." I say out of breath almost crying. For a moment I see a bit of a hurt expression on Alec's face but it is soon gone. Without saying anything else,I turn around and leave. I can hear Alec's voice calling to me but I choose to ignore him. I honestly don't even now where I am going, but for now, that's all I'm doing, just going. I walk around for a while before deciding to head back to the institute. As I walk back I begin to wonder what is really going in with me. Am I really falling for Alec or do I just think that I am? I suddenly stop as I catch a glimpse of silver hair from the corner of my eye.
I turn in that direction and my eyes go wide as I realize who it is that I'm looking at. Sebastian. I quickly duck behind a bush hoping he doesn't notice me. But when I come out of hiding, he is no longer there. I look all around me, but he is still no where in sight. What! How can he just vanish into thin air like that? That doesn't matter. All I need to do is go tell Izzy and Alec and they'll know what to do.
Back at the institute-
"Clary, where have you been? I was worried sick about you. You should never-" I hear Izzy say but I interrupt. " Sebastian is back" I say, out of breath considering I ran over here. "Did you just say Sebastian is back?" I tense up at his voice. I turn to look at Alec as he walks up behind me. "Yeah, that's what I said" I reply. He looks at me coldly. "Where did you see him? Are you sure it was him? Did he say anything to you?" Alec asks.
"Well when I saw silver hair I quickly hid behind a bush and then when I got back up he was gone." I look at Izzy, then at Alec. "So what you're saying is you're not really sure if it was him or not?" Alec says. "Of course I'm sure it was him" I shoot back, glaring. "Yeah,ok, when you figure this out, then you can come and talk to me" he says, looking annoyed and walking right past me. As he walks by, his shoulder grazes mine and he turns to look at me, but quickly leaves. "What's up with him?" I ask Izzy, though I'm still watching as Alec walks away from us. "Beats me, but lately he's been acting a little strange. I'm sure he'll get it over it though. And,listen, I know my brother Can be a pain in the you-know-what, but just give him a chance and try to be nice to him. You guys always get in an argument over nothing. So,please try."
"Alright I'll try my best, but I can't make any promises" I say. Izzy lets out a chuckle. "Ok, well get some sleep. Goodnight" she says.
"Goodnight."
