Alec and clary

Chapter 9

   As soon as Simon left I hit the shower. Man, it felt so good as the hot water touched my back. I finally had some time all by myself and started thinking about everything that has happened these last few weeks. They sure were a couple of crazy weeks. About 30 minutes later, I got out of the shower. I decided I could use some extra practice on fighting skills, so I headed towards the training room. As soon as I opened the door, I ran right into Izzy.
   "Ouch! Izzy, what are you doing?"
     "Sorry, I was just coming to ask you if you wanted to join me, I'm going shopping." She squealed with excitement.
"What do you mean shopping? Like, out in the 'mundane' world?"
"Yes, that's exactly what I mean. My mom is visiting and they're having a meeting and she wants us to go. So, I decided to buy a new dress. Well, are you gonna join?"
  "I guess. Just let me change and I'll be ready." I stated.
-5 minutes later-
I walked out of my room to find Izzy and Alec talking. As soon as they heard me, Alec looked up and I suddenly felt insecure. Why was I feeling like this? I can't have feelings for him, not after everything that has happened.
"Hey clary! Hope you don't mind, but Alec is coming with us," Izzy said. "Alright let's go!!"
-30 minutes later
"So, which store are we going to?" I looked at Izzy. 
"Let's go to this new store I've heard about. It's called Victoria's Secret," Izzy said.
   We walked around trying to find the store and the entire time I could sense Alec's eyes on me. This was too much for me. I couldn't fall for him, he was Jace's parabatai. Or, well, he was. But don't parabatai die together? No, clary stop. Jace is dead and he's not coming back.
   "We're here." I looked up and saw a big sign that was all pink, in fact the whole store was pink, that said Victoria's Secret. There was also a bunch of pictures girls in their underwear. Of course Izzy would want to come to this store.

Hey guys! Sorry I haven't updated In such all long time I've just been really busy with school and band but marching band is almost over so I'll have much more time to update.
