Baby its cold outside

Christmas Eve

"I really can't stay " jasmine backed up against the wall that was behind her ,Anthony hovered over her "Baby it's cold outside"  he whispered against her lips ever so lightly being inches away . "I've got to go away " she confessed and rested her hand on the doorknob . He grabbed her hand pulling her to him backing up so she wasn't against the door "Baby it's cold outside"

"This evening has been.." she  trailed off as he interrupted her "Been hoping that you'd drop in" Anthony had said spinning her around before pulling her to him once again .
"So very nice " she continued . He kisses her hands softly ." I'll hold your hands, they're just like ice" as he said that jasmine shivered .

"I can't stay ,My mother will start to worry ." She looked down at the floor to avoid eye contact and bit her lip blushing . "Beautiful, what's your hurry?" He cupped her cheeks pulling her to dance with him .
As she spun around she stated  " my Father will be pacing the floor " he stopped dancing and sat on the couch gestured to the fire place "Listen to the fireplace roar!"

"So really I'd better scurry  " she said getting up from the couch playing with her hands "Beautiful, please don't hurry" he said taking her hands pulling her down just a bit and offers her some more to drink ." Maybe just a half a drink more " she nodded slightly and sat down giving into his romantic ways . I'll   Put some records on after  I pour." He got up and smiled at her putting on one of her favorite record "

The windows were open and the neighbors next door were pretty nosey she looked back at Anthony ." The neighbors might think.." jasmine said starring at them . Anthony shot Up and shut the window and closed the drapes "Baby, it's bad out there"  . She swirled her drink around and smiled "Say, what's in this drink? " he looked out the window at the snowy roads and looked back at her "No cabs to be had out there"

"I wish I knew how  .." she looked at him as he sat back down near her with a smile . " Your eyes are like starlight now" he confesses grazing his lips over hers .
"To break this spell " she finished leaning in . "I'll take your hat, your hair looks swell" he said getting her hat and puts it on himself with a goofy grin she laughed and playfully hit his arm putting it back on her head .

"I ought to say no, no, no " she said leaning back as he leaned forward scooting closer "Mind if I move in closer?"
"At least I'm gonna say that I tried " she giggled knowing it was right in her mind . "What's the sense in hurting my pride?" He held his hand on his chest .
"I really can't stay " she shook her head with a frown getting up . "Baby don't hold out"
Ah, but it's cold outside" he said grabbing her hand once again with a laugh

"I've got to get home " she said getting her gloves looking around for her coat "Oh, baby, you'll freeze out there" he pleaded staying on the couch looking at her
"Say, lend me your coat " she said walking to him seductively ."It's up to your knees out there" he stood up pointing to the blocked window .
"You've really been grand -" she said grabbing his jacket putting it on . " I Thrill when you touch my hand" their hands touched for a movement .
"Why don't you see " she got a little frustrated "How can you do this thing to me?" He fell back into the couch .

"There's bound to be talk tomorrow " she referred to the Hamilton cast ." Think of my life long sorrow" he confessed sitting up .
He got up going to her spinning her around . "At least there will be plenty implied" she shook her head stepping away  ."If you caught pneumonia and died" he chuckled holding her hand .
"I really can't stay " she sighed resting her hands on his chest ." Get over that hold out" he said directing her back to the couch as they flopped down . They said together
"Oh, baby, it's cold outside"
