Breath (Ch 10, End)

Finding my place in this world wasn't easy, even if I did have friends there to help me. I just got lucky I guess...having so many kind people there to support me. In another time, or even another place, my happiness wouldn't be possible. But here, it is possible.
The whole night through there were soft moans and pleasureful screams of ecstasy, the scene replays in my memories.
"Sans," I ask silently, in my most innocent voice, "Take me?" Clearly taken aback by my question, blush spreads across his cheeks. " I knew he was was hesitant. Fear had a strong grip on him...this fear to lose a loved one. Knowing how gentle his heart is, I help him gain confidence. My response to his silence: a simple smile and a head tilt. As I recall, his cheeks became a darker hue and he looked straight at me. It was as if he could see my very soul. A broken,shattered and beat up entity that lived inside me. His was no different. How do I know this? ...I saw it.

I look away from his face, as I can no longer stand his gaze and find myself staring at his soul. I begin to blush, not nearly as strongly as Sans was, but blushing none the less. I knew he saw my fascination in him because he shifted his weight. His chest began to emit a pale blue glow behind his white shirt. From that point on, the rest of the night was a blur.

We forgot about the past and moved on. Sans still gets nightmares and I still see glimpses of chara, an unavoidable problem. Memories of what happened that night with Lust Sans is embedded into me, not just by the scars upon my neck, but the numbness I felt...yet it does not hold me back.

All we ever wanted was each other, we just didn't know how to say it...
I panicked and he disappeared, not exactly a perfect way to say "hello, I like you, maybe even love you."

Enough about the past, it's time to move forward.
