It's been a year since I had run into Lust Sans, a day I hoped to forget. Much has changed here on the surface since then; I've moved into my own house, bought a car, live alone...and I don't see Toriel as often as I once did. I miss everyone so much...

To my delight some things didn't change. The skelebro's still live with each other, papyrus still trains with Undyne, Alphy still has a huge crush on her and Sans still disappears at random.

Today, I find myself missing the place where it all began, Mt.Ebott. I know the barrier is still open so I drive to the mountain and begin to climb. Once I reach the top I let myself fall, a familiar daze washes over me. As I suspected, lovely yellow flowers have negated my fall.
"Howdy, my name's...-Frisk! Where have you been? What are you doing down here?" The small goat boy inquires. "Azzy!" I shout, giving him a big hug as I do so. "I've been on the surface silly. I'm surprised you recognized me, I've kinda grown up a bit."
After a few minutes of catching up, Azriel suggested he stay and watch his flowers. A wave goodbye and a smile are exchanged.
As I make my way through the empty ruins and past Snowdin I start to hum a tune, I had forgotten some of the notes so it sounded a bit messy. A few more paces along I began to hear an echo flower with a strange tune, it was a new song. I sat and listened to it for a while, it was dangerously beautiful in composition. I swear I've heard this before, maybe in another timeline. I hit every note and matched every pitch.
My humming of the mysterious music continues as I walk alone, the sound of running water adding to my confident vocal strums. I come upon the area where bridge flowers grow, the bell reflecting an unknown light. Someone else has been here, the watery plants were missing from their spots. There it is again, that same tune, it comes from seemingly nowhere. I then spot a bridge of flowers, they lead to a secret path. I obey the echo flower's call and cross. I'm greeted by an empty bench and a singing flower, It is peaceful here.
I stay and hum along to the echo, half an hour later I find myself drifting off to sleep, I lay upon the now occupied bench. Soft megalovania fills the room, swiftly followed by the ring of a bell.

If I had the ability to tell time, I would say that I slept for several hours. I awaken with a smile on my face, determination in my soul and strength in my journey. I rise to stretch, but what is this? A coat? No, not just any coat, it's Sans coat. That wasn't on me before, but if that's the case he must be here somewhere! Sleepy thoughts soon awaken, my voice full of happiness and hope. "Thank you...for always taking care of me, you silly skeleton." I whisper to the misty air. "I have the ability to tell you how you make me feel, so why...why can't I say it out loud?"
I face forward and close my eyes, taking in everything my other senses can find. The smell of wet flowers, the sound of crashing water, the taste of nostalgia atop my tongue and a sudden feeling of warmth.
My soul was as warm as a blue flame, skeleton memories of what I once experienced long ago. I want him, this feeling, to last...just a little while longer...
Alas a moment like this never lasts long enough.

My half lidded eyes flutter open, only to find themselves still peacefully dreaming. "Beautiful night tonight isn't it? Bells are singing, water flowers are blooming, on nights like these ladies like you should be as comfortable as possible." Sans voice sang. I pinch myself, I must be dreaming, this can't be real. "Ow." I mutter."Sans, what are you doing down here? I didn't-did I...?!" panic taking hold. "No, you didn't reset," sand interjects. "Thought I'd visit the old place and reminisce about the memories I have here. While I was visiting my old place, I heard a familiar tune pass by. It inspired me to hum my own gentle tune. Guess some echo flower's must've heard it after I took a shortcut." He explained. Sans never ceases to astound me, him and his unknown charm.
I can feel his warm bones next to my skin, the cold air pinching my legs, provoking my muscles to seek safety. I tuck my legs into Sans coat, "that's better," I think to myself. "Hey you cold Frisk? C'mere." Sans pulls me close, now a pile of coat fluff and warmth, he embraces me into a loving hug. I couldn't help myself, I leaned up to his cheek and gave him a small kiss. I had realized what I did and held my hands to my lips, stunned. "I-i'm sorry, I ju-...!" He cut me off with a kiss to the lips. I press my lips further into his, the feeling, it was amazing. We finally break apart, blush spread across our cheeks, steaming breaths fighting the cold air. "Sans? I...I want to be with you." Strength and determination in my words. He seems speechless but then he looks into my eyes. "Frisk, I love you. I always have, I just needed to know if you felt the same way." Another embrace, just as warm and soft as the first. "Frisk, let's run away together." my heart nearly skipped a beat, I've always wanted to hear those words. I face him, smile on my face and tears rolling down my cheeks.
"Okay."
