Chapter 6

Authors Note:
There will be no Melanie P.O.V. in this chapter lol sorry. But there will be a Halsey P.O.V.

I am writing this chapter on my PC, well at least some of it.

CONNOR'S P.O.V.

I woke up, I looked over to my clock which was a emerald green kit cat clock. I see that the time is 8:00. I hear someone singing "Colors"  by Halsey.

Your little brother never tells you but he loves you so
You said your mother only smiled on her tv show
You're only happy when your sorry head is filled with dope
I hope you make it to the day you're twenty-eight years old

You're dripping like a saturated sunrise
You're spilling like an overflowing sink
You're ripped at every edge but you're a masterpiece
And now i'm tearing through the pages and the ink

Everything is blue
His pills, his hands, his jeans
And now i'm covered in the colors pull apart at the seams

His hair, his smoke, his dreams
And now he's so devoid of color
He don't know what it means

You were a vision in the morning when the light came through

But you touched me, and suddenly I was a lilac sky
Then you decided purple just wasn't for you

I got dressed, I decided to wear a "Badlands" shirt and some light blue jeans. I went downstairs only to find Melanie and Halsey just sitting there talking. I started to freak out. I was mentally screaming "OMG HALSEY IS IN MY HOUSE." But I didn't because I wanted to look like a civilized person.

"Hey Connor, this is Ashley but you may know her as Halsey." Melanie said

"Oh hey Connor, didn't see you there!" said Halsey

"hi" I said shyly

"Oh Connor Ashley is going to spend the day with us and Aaron said he should be here any moment now" Melanie said

Just as she said that we heard someone knocking on the door. I opened the door and I see Aaron. He had his stuff so i'm guessing he was spending the night with us again. I was screaming in my insides. I quickly wrapped my arms around Aaron's neck. He gave me a signal to jump, I wrapped my legs around his waist. We started kissing in front of Melanie and Ashley.

"Wow, those two are some real lovebirds!!" I heard Halsey say

AARON'S P.O.V.

I woke up at 7:30 this morning, Melanie called me and told me to get ready and to go to her house. She also told me to bring my stuff because she wanted me to spend the night with Connor. He was my baby, I was so sad to see him almost burst into tears when I left yesterday.

I put on a "Badlands" shirt because I had a feeling that Connor was gonna wear that. Plus I knew Ashley was going to be there. By 8:00 I left my house, I was excited to see Connor even though I see him every day.

I soon arrived to Melanie's house, Connor opened the door. He hugged me then he wrapped his arms around my neck. I tapped his thighs, he jumped and wrapped his legs around my waist. I started walking, Connor told me to stop moving. He grabbed my face and we started kissing intensely.

"Wow, those two are some real lovebirds!!" Ashley said

We ignored her and we just kept kissing, until Melanie told us it's time to eat breakfast. Melanie made pancakes for breakfast. After breakfast Melanie told us we had to leave to go to a venue with Ashley in like 2 hours. Connor and I went up to his room and he told me more about himself. Turns out his birthday is in 3 days. That was when I was gonna take him on our first date.

I was planning on taking him out to a Italian restaurant, then we were gonna go to watch a movie. I was gonna make him so happy. I know he is already happy because hes out of that orphanage. Tomorrow he was gonna start home school and in 2 months he is to be done with 12th grade. I finished high school about a year ago. I am taking online classes but I only take them just in case if being a manager doesn't work out for me. Then Melanie came and knocked on the door.

"Come in." I hear Connor say in an angelic voice.

HALSEY P.O.V.

So I woke up at 7:00 a.m. this morning and I got ready to go to Mel's house. I got in the car and drove around 7:30 I arrived and knocked on the door. Melanie opened the door, we sat there and talked while she made breakfast. At 8:05 Connor came downstairs wearing a "Badlands" shirt with some light blue jeans, I was sooooooo happy. I talked to him he was so rad. Then Aaron knocked on the door and Connor had a total make out session in front of my face.

So I know this chapter is shorter than usual but I will not update as often now. I have to go to school tomorrow. SORRY
