Better Keep That Promise

So. You wanna put a promise you made to Raf aside? Oh, you've made a grave mistake Optimus Prime.

"SIRE!!!" Came a loud screech from the one and only (Y/n). Sparkling of Optimus Prime.

The screech surprisingly startled Optimus so much that he dropped his cube of energon and sprinted towards the source of the screech and shouting her name.

"(Y/n)!"

Only to arrive to see her standing in the human 'area' which is next to Ratchets monitors.

"What's wrong with you!"

Optimus stared at his youngling in confusion and shock at the sudden outburst.

"Pardon?" He asked.

"How could you forget what you promised Raf when you went to the arctic!?" (Y/n) shouted in question. "I know that it was rough at the time with you and Arcee almost dying and the scraplet thing but after all that (not immediately) you still could have had time to do something that only takes seconds!"

"I..." Optimus was at a loss of words.

"Go get some snow for Raf," (Y/n) demanded as she crossed her arms.

"(Y/n)," Optimus started. "I simply cannot abandon my duties at hand and-"

"Stop procrastinating," (Y/n) said bluntly with a straight face. "If you keep procrastinating, you'll never get it done," She then continued to whisper, "..just like I never got my project done in science and got an F..."

"What was that?" came a curt question from Optimus as he slightly narrowed his optics at (Y/n).

(Y/n) then waved her arms in front of her and spoke in a panicked voice.

"Huh? What? I-I didn't say anything what are you talking about? A grade in what class? Heh heh..."

Optimus only narrowed his optics even more at her in suspicion.

(Y/n) then cleared her throat.

"Um, moving back to the topic. Go get a snowball for Raf,"

Optimus sighed once again and opened his mouth to retort.

"(Y/n), once more, I simply cannot-"

"Do it or I'll jump,"

"..."

"..."

"What?"

"Do it or I'll jump off from Ratchets computer towards the floor. Of course it won't kill me- just hurt me really badly,"

Optimus narrowed his optics at the young femme.

"You will do no such thing," He voiced sternly as he took a step toward her. "And if you do I will catch you and not put you down unless necessary,"

"Watch me jump when you leave. Besides, you can't carry me everywhere-I mean, would you even carry me on the battlefield? And Ratchets going to be busy to notice me,"

"I will simply give him the order to watch over you firmly,"

"I'll cover myself in butter and slip through his and your fingers like slippery wet noodles,"

Optimus then gave (Y/n) and funny look while (Y/n) in turn had a poker face.

"..wet noodles?"

(Y/n) then shook her head and opened her mouth.

"Nevermind- I'll go get the snow myself,"

Optimus, just about fed up, released an irritated sigh and walked over to the groundbridge and input coordinates before activating it.

Before entering the bridge, Optimus turned around and gave (Y/n) a slightly irritated look.

She in turn smiled bright and shouted;

"I love you dad!"

Optimus' optics softened and with that, he entered to the cold biome on the other side.

The sudden sound of an engine roaring coming through the entrance of the base directed (Y/n)'s attention to the yellow and black muscle car that raced in.

—Timeskip—

"This is..." Raf couldn't believe what his eyes were seeing as he blinked in disbelief as the large, white fluffy mound in front of him.

"Yep!" (Y/n) cheerfully said. "This, is snow! You wanted to see it that fine when Optimus went to the tundra so...here ya go!"

Raf was speechless as he didn't know how to express his gratitude to the Prime who was crouched in front of him- dusting any and all snow on his frame off of him.

"Th-Thank you so much Optimus! This is amazing!" Raf managed to blurt out before he timidly, yet excitingly extended his hand and grabbed at the snow.

Optimus's optics softened at the young boy who continued to prod and play with the large mound of snow. He hummed back in acknowledgment and looked over at his young one to see her smiling at him with a thumbs up.
