What if?

This is just a short little chat between you and Optimus.

Think of this as a part 2 for Boyfriend :)

"Hey papa?"

"Yes (Y/n)?"

"I was wondering...if..."

Noticing his youngling becoming rather timid, Optimus ceases his typing on the holo computer and turns towards her- giving her encouraging words to continue.

"It is alright (Y/n). What is it you were wondering?"

"Um...would you get me something if I wanted it?"

Optimus held his glossia for a moment- wondering where (Y/n) was going with this.

"If I am able to obtain it, yes,"

And with that, (Y/n)'a eyes lit up.

"What if I wanted ice-cream?"

A rather simple thing for Optimus to get. So of course, he answered with;

"Then I will get you some ice-cream of your choosing,"

"What if I wanted a pet?"

"That would remain as a possibility- as caring for another creature is a large responsibility,"

(Y/n) hummed in thought before opening her mouth again.

"What if I wanted markers and paper to draw?"

"Then I will ask Agent Fowler to provide them for you,"

"What if I wanted some new clothes?"

"Then I am sure Agent Fowler would not mind letting me borrow what is called a 'credit card', for a bit,"

"What if I wanted a toy?"

"Then I will obtain you a toy,"

"What if I wanted a blanket?"

"Then I will provide that for you,"

Thinking the questions spewing from (Y/n) mouth were nothing more then a child's curiosity, he turned back to typing- but still keeping his audio receptors trained on her.

"What if I want a stuffed animal?"

"Then I shall provide one for you,"

"And a coloring book?"

"That as well,"

Without Optimus seeing, a devious smirk spread across (Y/n) lips.

"What if I wanted a boyfriend?"

"Absolutely,"

"REALLY?!"

"Not,"

"..."

"..."

"...you know, I still didn't get a clear answer on why I can't have a boyfriend,"

And done! This chapter was just a little something that came to my mind while browsing instagram.

You know, this chapter actually reminds me of when I was little and would constantly ask my dad why I couldn't have a boyfriend.

I mean I didn't ask him because I wanted one- I just loved to see my dads reaction to my question.

I remember how he would always say, "You can't have one because I say so," and "You see this fist? My fist, will go in his face," and even "He's gonna have to date me first,"

Man I love my dad 😂😂

Even though he rarely received any affection from his own father, he still made an effort to show it to me and my siblings- trust me I know 😂❤️.

Especially when he has a couple of books on how to be a good father....

My dad is basically a big giant teddy bear. Especially around children and babies.

...no lie my dad reminds me of Optimus cause jeez does he have a way with his voice and words- especially when he's enlightening someone.

He can speak normally and yet his voice would hold so much power in it you just end up staying silent.

Ah, look at me ranting- sorry I don't do this often- it's actually rare of me to go ranting on Wattpad haha 😅
