I quickly jogged downstairs to the kitchen and sat at the island waiting for him to open it but he just stood there. "Stop being a pussy and open it"

"I can't" he handed the envelope to me "You do it"

I gladly took it out of his hand and opened it, pulling the paper out. I skipped over all the irrelevant stuff and went to what was really important.

He put his hands in his head and sighed. Elijah started crawling around on the floor and tugged at Odell's pants. I giggled when he started screaming and fussing because Odell didn't pick him up.

"Odell" I tapped his shoulder "If you're all worked up over this because you think I'm leaving then you can stop, I'm okay. I'm not sad about it, just take care of your daughter and we won't have any problems"

He looked up at me "You serious?"

"Yeah, I mean I can't change it so what's the point of being mad. It hurts a little bit but I'll be fine"

"I love you man, I swear I'ma remarry you one day"

I laughed a little and picked up Elijah, he started playing with my hair and tried to put it in his mouth. "Eli don't do that" I pulled his hand away from my hair but he put it right back. "I swear he hard headed just like you"

Chelsea is supposed to be coming today. I'm kinda excited to meet her. I hope she's nothing like her rude ass mother.

The doorbell rang and there was a knock on the door. That bothers me so much, like why are you knocking if you just rung the doorbell. Our doorbell is loud enough to be heard from outside so I know her ass heard it.

I opened the door and smiled but of course she had a mug on her face. "Where's Odell?"

"Oh he's in the living room, you can come in" I moved out the doorway and allowed them to walk in before closing it. I led them to the living room where Odell and Elijah were on the floor making a mess. "Odell"

He looked up and got off the floor "Hey Chelsea"

I looked over at Chelsea as she smiled and hid behind Courtney's leg. She's such a pretty little girl. She ran over to Odell and he picked her up and spun her around causing her to laugh.

"I'll be back to pick her up at 5, take care of my baby" Courtney said before looking at me "Nice house"

I knew she said that to be petty but I also knew our house was very nice so I thanked her. "Chelsea give mommy a hug before I leave" She quickly gave Courtney a hug and went back to playing with Odell and Elijah. I led Courtney out and locked the door before going back in the living room.

They all looked so happy playing together, Elijah is always happy and smiling so that's normal for him but Odell looked so calm and at peace, I'm happy for him. He caught me staring at him and winked, making me blush.

I went up to the room and talked to my sister and brothers for a few hours until Odell came in and got in the bed next to me. "Where are the kids?"
