And so she did. She looked at him a bit skeptical at first but when he moved as far back as he could and opened for his arms for her to lie down, she couldn't resist. Within minutes both of them were sleeping.
Sharna awoke in the morning with voices in the background. She guessed most if not everyone was already up and in the kitchen. She started to wake Val up.
'Babe we've taken over the sitting room for long enough, I think everyone's already up.' She said rubbing her hand up and down his arm that was placed over her waist.
'I don't wanna,' He whined burying his face in her hair and tightening his grip around her. After convincing him to get up they fixed themselves a little and made their way to the kitchen. When they got there everyone was there.
'Well the love birds are finally awake,' Val's mom announced. Everyone turned to look at them and started clapping and cheering. Val and Sharna just looked at each other and laughed. They made their breakfast and joined the rest at the table. They talked about everything. Tour, Christmas, the baby. Peta and Sharna had volunteered to clean up while everyone else made their way to the sitting room.
'So what happened between you two last night. I walked in there this morning and almost had a heart attack. You looked pretty close on that couch.' Peta had always thought they would be great together and she and Sharna talked about it a lot.
'Nothing happened P. You know yourself that couch is the comfiest. We both wanted it so we tossed a coin for it, he won but then he asked me to stay there with him so I did.' Sharna smiled at Peta. Once they had finished cleaning up they joined the rest in the sitting room. Val was on one end of the couch and Maks was on the other so Peta sat beside Maks and Sharna beside Val. She made herself comfortable leaning her legs on Val's.
'You okay?' He asked smiling at her. Everyone else was in their own little conversations.
'I'm more than okay now. This sweater by the way is mine.' She smiled back at him.
'It looks better on you anyway.'
The conversations slowly started to die off and people had left to get read for the day. Sharna hadn't really spoken to her mom yet so she made her way over and snuggled into her.
'I miss you Woo.'
'I miss you too Shar but everyone's been keeping me company here. They're really great people.' Sharna knew that already this family had basically adopted her and Peta a long time ago but this was the first time Sharna's mom was really getting to meet everyone.
'You and Val looked pretty cosy last night. What's going on?' Sharna's mom had also talked to her about Val and how she thought they were perfect for each other.
'Nothing's happening mom, you know that. If any thing ever does you'll be the first to know, well maybe second after P.' Sharna kissed her mom and went to get ready herself.
Sharna went upstairs and got ready in Peta's room. The conversation between them flowed as usual. They hadn't seen each other in a while so they had a lot of catching up to do. When both girls were ready they made their way down stairs to see everyone already there. They sat down in the same positions as earlier.
'So is there anyway Val and I can get our own room or are we on the couch for he next few days?' The discussion amongst the family became hectic. Trying to figure out who could bunk with each other to make enough room.
'I mean there's a blow up bed you could put in the baby's room but you'll be in there together,' Peta announced although she knew they wouldn't mind that. Sharna looked at Val and he nodded. So it was sorted where everyone was sleeping tonight. Everyone went on their way doing their own things. Val, Sharna and Nicole had to go to the mall to pick up a few things. When they got there Nicole had her own thing to do and she knew where she wanted to go where as Val and Sharna just wanted to stroll around. They had made there way into a few different stores and bought essentials that they needed. They were in Topshop when Sharna asked Val to come to the changing room to see if this dress looked ok on her. It was a little risqué, it was black and a little shorter than she would usually go for. Val sat in the chair outside and waited for her to step out and when she did he never wanted her to go back in.
'So how does it look?' She asked doing a 360 turn. The smile on her face told Val that she knew she looked good and the smile on Val's face reassured Sharna that she did.
'Umm... you look stunning babe,' Val said getting up for his chair. He walked over to her and grabbed her hand and made her do one more twirl.
'Absolutely breathtaking,' He said in a low and sexy voice. The sexual tension between them was at an all time high. They looked into each other's eyes and wanted nothing more than to kiss but they knew they really shouldn't.
'Can you unzip the back of this please?' Sharna asked still not breaking eye contact with him. Val laughed and shook his head, this really wasn't helping the situation. He obliged anyway and told her he would meet her outside. When he closed the curtain on the changing room Sharna had to take minute to collect herself. They hadn't had a moment like that in a while. He had been off with other girls and like wise her with other guys. Sharna got changed, payed for the dress and met Val outside. There was a little bit of tension still going on between them.
'So should we go for lunch before heading back?' Val asked holding his arm out for Sharna to link her arm with it.
'That sounds great.'
