Chapter 5

Marinas POV

2 hours later we were back at our cells at the prison, and we were pooped due to the long distance of walking.

"So carl..." I spoke, looking into his eyes.

"Yea?" He responded while doing the same.

"I just wanted to thank you for asking me out, I've never had a real boyfriend, and it's good to have somebody by my Side.." I then started playing with his hair.

"And thank you for taking my offer on it mar." He smiled, man I love his smile.

He then rested his hands on my cheeks, and started to lean in slowly.

I started to do the same, except wrapping my arms around his neck.

Finally his soft lips met mine, this kiss was full of passion, not roughness.

Our lips moving in perfect rhythm, making me grin into the kiss.

He grinned also, we were at the point where we were grinning so much, we started to laugh.

"Oh mar, your a special one." he exclaimed, still holding back chuckles.

"I know." I replied. "Let's go hang out with Beth and Maggie"

He nodded in approval, as we walked to cell 8.

"Maggie, Beth, mind if we hang out with y'all?" I asked them.

"We don't mind a bit" Maggie finished. "come sit."

We obeyed and sat down next to eachother.

"Ok, so what do ya wanna do?" Said beth.

"Hmmm, what about truth or dare??" I hinted, as I smirked a little.

I earned a round of "ohhs" and then started.

"Beth truth or dare?"

She pursed her lips. "ummm, how about truth"

"Ok is it true you ever sat on a boys lap?" I inquired, Beth's eyes went wide.

"Oh sure, maybe when I was five!"

We all burst out in laughter.

"Ok Maggie, truth or da-"

"EVERYONE OUT OF THE CELLS, EMERGENCY LETS GO!!" A voice yelled, it was ricks.

We quickly shuffled out and grabbed all our weapons and listened.

"A herd of about 50 walkers broke down one of the fences and they are swarmed around the prison, we need to out the left doors, and if that doesn't works then we'll go through cell block A, got it?" Rick instructed.

After he got all nods, we tried left doors, luckily there were only a few walkers but then some following close behind.

Well crap.

Carls POV:

At this point I just wanted to get out, close to marina, all that mattered to me was to know that she was safe.

Right now walkers were quickly gathering one by one.

"Marina, stay by me ok?" I told her, trying to soothe her.

She nodded her head and locked arms with me.

"LETS GO HALF ON LEFT HALF OF RIGHT! MOVE!" Daryl yelled, everyone scrambled.

There were to 3 walkers that were up to my face so I stabbed them in the eye quickly, watching them fall.

"Carl! get the ones farther! there's too many!"

I obeyed, and went deeper into the grass.

A swarm of a dozen were coming closer and closer, I shot a few down, stabbed some in the head, and traveled back to marina.

"We're blocked by 20, we need to get then and it will be close to clear aight?" marina explained to me in heavy breaths.

"Aight" I replied, jogging to the rest.

They were already shooting down and stabbing them all.

So I watched them kill the creatures that were once people, what a tragity.

But as I was looking over in the distance I heard a gut wrenching scream.

I snapped my head to the direction of the scream, only to find out the scream came from..


Marina.
