"Drive faster," Dave told Ben as they drove through Chicago, trying to find the Syndicate's black van.

"I don't want to get into a car crash," Ben retorted.

"It's the middle of the night; nobody's out. So please drive faster," Dave said, looking at his friend.

Ben glanced at him then back to the road. He sighed and pressed his foot down a little more on the gas pedal, propelling the car forward.

"Right," Joe ordered, the sound of his voice echoing through Ben's earpiece.

Ben turned the wheel to the right as soon as he could and pulled into another deserted street, however, at the end of it were lights belonging to another vehicle - the van.

"They're right there," Dave spoke up, pointing in front of him.

Ben's grip on the steering wheel tightened and he slammed his foot down, increasing the speed of their car. They followed the van on a few miles, getting closer to it.

"What are you waiting for? Bump into them!" Dave exclaimed, getting impatient.

"I'm just waiting for the right moment," The tall man replied. He drove closer to the black van and bumped slightly into it, nudging the vehicle forward. "Okay, let's do this." He stayed close to the van and accelerated, pushing the black vehicle along until it crash into a wall.

The side door of the van slid open and two guards got out, guns in hands. Ben and Dave's eyes widened and they looked at each other then the back seat of their car where a big black bag was sitting. They opened it and got two guns out. They made sure the magazines of the guns were full and left the car. They aimed their guns at the two guards and stayed like this for a few seconds. One of the two guards looked at his partner, as if he was asking something, and the other one nodded his head. The guards looked back at Ben and Dave and put their weapons over their shoulders. They took the smaller guns strapped to their legs and ran to the two other men standing in front of them. Ben and Dave didn't see it coming - the guards were way too fast for them to do something. It was like time had slowed down, and Ben just stared at his friend in awe as he shot the guard running toward him in the throat. The big guy dressed in black stopped in his tracks and collapsed to the ground.

Dave glanced back at his friend and his facial expression suddenly completely changed. "Ben behind you!"

And as soon as he said that, Ben felt arms around his chest and neck. He let go of the gun in his hand by surprise and grabbed the arms of the guard, trying to struggle out his grip. He looked at his friend, begging for help, and aimed the gun in his direction, "No, don't do this." He tried to stop him and closed his eyes. He was about to say something when a loud noise echoed in the alley, making his ears ring. The grip on him loosened and he fell to the ground on his knees, the loud ringing in his ear causing him to lose his balance. He looked back to see the body of the guard.

"Are you okay?" Dave asked as he knelt next to his friend and placed a hand on his shoulder.

Ben met his gaze. "That bullet came really close to my ear." He chuckled and put a hand on his ear.

"Sorry." Dave smiled and helped him get back up.

"Nice job by the way."

"Thanks." Dave chuckled. "Wait, the driver." He ran toward the front of the van and saw this guard slumped over the steering wheel, unconscious. Dave hesitated a little bit but then shot him in the head.

He got back to where Ben was standing and slipped into the back of the van with him. Isaac and you were lying on the hard floor of the vehicle, your feet and hands attached together. Dave knelt next to Isaac. "Hey, can you hear me?" He asked, shaking his friend slightly.

Isaac stirred and brought a hand up to his forehead. "Oh my head," He groaned, "Why did you run into us? We could have died."

"Sorry," Ben apologized.

"What happened to you guys?" Dave inquired, helping him sit up.

"Patrick called Y/N. He and Joe are in New York; they managed to escape from the Syndicate. He told us to go to the headquarters so we'd be safe, because they were coming for us, but these assholes caught us before we could," He explained.

"Well now we have you back, so that's good." Dave patted his shoulder.

"Let's go to the headquarter, then." Ben suggested as he took you in his arms and walked to the car.
