He sat up. "Y/N?...I mean, my Y/N?" Patrick asked, shocked.
"Uh yeah, I guess," You replied, confused.
"How could I forgot about you?" He said as he threw his arms around, holding you close.
"What happened?" You murmured into his shoulder, "You...You died. You're dead."
He pulled out of the embrace and put his hands on your shoulders. "No...I...it's the Syndicate. They must have erased our memory or something like that." He stood up and paced in the room. "But I remember you now, and all that happened five years ago, until when Pete..." He stopped for moment, "...when Pete stabbed me."
"But...I'm so confused right now. They found your body." You muttered from your spot on the bed, putting your head in your hands as you tried to wrap your head around everything he'd just told you.
"I know. But I don't remember what happened that night. I only remember waking up in that bed five years ago..." He pointed at the bed you were sitting in. "...with that gross scar on my stomach." He motioned to the scar, "And I had one thing going on through my head; that was that I had to hide, I didn't know from what but I needed to hide. Then after a few weeks, I found Joe, Isaac and Nick. Here, they're called Mark, Edward and Will and me, I'm Martin."
You sighed as you looked at the ground.

"But wait...What's that story about that boyfriend who died in a car accident?" He inquired, his eyebrows knitting together in confusion.
"Like you, I woke up in the bed in my house and I only had that in mind, I thought it was the truth." You looked up at him, "And...you were really going to propose?"
"Yeah! I...I had the ring, everything was planned. But then...this all happened." He looked in the distance. He brought his gaze back to you and tacked on, "I think I still have the ring. Let me find it." He abandoned the room and you heard his voice from the corridor, "I had it in the pocket of my jacket. I remember, when I woke up I was really confused about it." You heard some shuffling in the office then heard his footsteps coming toward the bedroom again. "Here." He showed you the black little box in his hands. He opened it and looked at the ring inside, meeting your gaze again, "I don't know what to do. I mean..." He sat on the bed besides you. "It's been five years."
You took the little box in your possession and looked at the diamond ring inside of it. "It's beautiful," You whispered with tears in your eyes.
"You like it?" He asked you as he looked into your eyes.
Your eyes met his and you nodded your head. "I love it."
"So..." He sighed. "I don't even know if I should do this actually, but...do you want to marry me?"
"Yes!" You exclaimed and threw your arms around him, "I missed you so much." You whispered against his neck.
He stroke your hair with his hand and placed his other hand on your back, tears starting to form in his eyes. "I'm so sorry for everything that happened."
"It's okay," You assured him, kissing his cheek.
"Lets try to sleep, okay? We need to talk to the guys today."

A few hours later...

It was the end of the afternoon and about twenty minutes ago, Patrick called Joe, Isaac and Nick to come to his apartment.

"So, what did you call us for?" Joe questioned as he entered the apartment with the other guys, "You sounded pretty worried on the phone."
"Last night, the girl I was talking to, it's Y/N. I didn't remember her at first, but then everything came back. I think the Syndicate erased our memory."

The guys and Patrick ventured further into the apartment and sat on the couch.
"Y/N, come please." Patrick called.
You emerged from the bathroom and went into the living room.
"Oh my god, it's her." Joe muttered under his breath in amazement. He stood up from the couch and went to hug you. You hugged him back.
"Do you remember what happened?" Patrick asked.
"Yes, it's not really clear, though. I remember that we were in that abandoned hospital then it caught fire, and I...I remember leaving it carrying Nick's body." He answered.
"We need to talk to the Blue Birds about that. They probably know more than us," Isaac remarked.
"The Blue Birds?" You questioned, confused, "What's that?"
"It's three men. We don't know their names or what they look like, but they know a lot about what happened five years ago. They brought us together, actually," Nick explained.
"Then we need to find these guys and talk to them," You stated.
"Find? We don't know where they are." Patrick told you.
"So how do you talk to them?" You inquired.
"Earpieces," Isaac responded as he pointed to his ear, "Me and Patrick each have one. We woke up with them."
"So they just 'call' you like that, whenever they want?" You interrogated, still confused about the situation.
Patrick and Isaac nodded their heads.

"Talking about us?"A voice said in Patrick's earpiece. He winced at the sudden noise in his ear.
"Yeah" He replied.
You and the guys all looked at him.
"They heard us." Joe muttered.
"I think you need to know now."
