THREE YEARS LATER...

The platform 9 and 3/4 was ready for another year. The Potter family arrived through the steam from the Hogwarts Express. Albus Potter was leading the way, pushing his trolley and looking for a familiar face with no success.
"Look who we got here" Albus turned around to see his best friend.
"You look paler, Malfoy"
"You look greener, Potter"
"For Dumbledore, I missed you" Albus said hugging Scorpius.
"I didn't know we were hug buddies, but, um.. okay" Scorpius said returning the hug. "I would have missed me too, Al"
"Of course you would"
"That was too predictable, right? I should refresh my smart coments, they're getting old. But look at you! You look, um ... just the same. I thought the Burrow's food was known for its growing secondary effects"
"Ha ha, very funny. You on the other hand..." Albus looked at his friend's robes, they looked new, even if they were already spotted. Then he realised he was not longer the tall one of the pair. "Whoa, you've grown. Like a lot."
"Yeah! I know! Is it very noticeable? Or just slightly noticeable? I mean. Do you think Rose will notice?"
"Seriously? Rose? Why do you care if she notices? I thought you were past that."
"Well. I,... you thought wrong. I would never be past that. Have you seen her? She's perfect. She's got this amazing electric blue eyes and her hair... Her hair is..."
"Red, Scorpius. Her hair is red, just like most of the Weasley family's."
"No. It isn't red. It's strawberry blond. And, that's not it. I don't just like her because of her appearence"
"But you don't even know her!" Albus tried to reason for the thousandth time.
"That's not true! I know her since the day I met you"
"Scorp, you know what I mean. She practically ignores you since that day. And I can't blame her, you're like a stalker"
"Not relevant. And I'm not a stalker, I'm just a very good observer"
"Whatever, Malfoy"
Both boys started getting their luggage on the train. And headed back to the Potters who were now surrounded by Weasleys.
"Hi Scorpius, is nice to see you" Ginny greeted him.
"Ms and Mr Potter, the pleasure is all mine" Scorpius replied with a small movement of the head in his usual gentleness.
"Have you got everything Hugo?" Hermione asked.
"I think so" a small redhaired boy asked.
"Great. That's great" she replied nervously.
"C'mon, he will be just fine" Ron calmed her.
"Don't you think he's too young for this?" she whispered to her husband in a serious tone "Maybe, maybe I should change the scholar age, delay it a couple years? I could promote a few laws and..."
"C'mon Minister, he will be just fine. It's not like he's going to fight some dark wizard or kill a troll" Ron mocked her.
"That's problably right. I mean, what are the chances of it happening again?" she knelt before her son and kissed him goodbye. "Send me a letter when you have settled, okay?"
"But mum, I don't have an owl"
"You can use Rosie's" Ron added. Hugo nodded and approached her cousin already on the train.
"Mum, please, just, can I just leave? People are starting to stare" an impatient Rose asked to her parents.
"They can stare all they want, you're not the first Weasley standing with their parents and you won't be the last" Ron answered gaining a roll of the eyes from Rose.
"Yes, you can honey" Hermione sent his husband a warning look. "Keep an eye on your brother and Lily, will you?"
"Yes mum"
"I love you"
"I love you too"
She hugged her parents and headed to the train.
"Hey, Rose, I think you..." Scorpius tried to call her attention but she just passed by making Albus laugh at his best friends failed try and spastic movements "don't care what I think, right? Yup." He finally noticed his friend laugh and pushed him towards the train. "Oh shut up Al. It's your fault, you're the werid Potter, don't you remember? Now, let's go! Hogwarts is waiting mate!"
