I would highly recommend you to read the Epilogue of the last book in the Harry Potter series before reading this, even though it is not crutial for the developpment of the plot.
I would also like to remark that the start of the book is inspired on Harry Potter and the Cursed Child initial story, being the adaptation I would have liked to read. And will start distancing from the book as the story developps.
