"I can leave?" Camila said. I would be lying if I said that I didn't want her to.

"It's almost one in the morning, Camila. I'm not going to let you go back out there." Camila looked at me without expression. "I don't mean to be rude, but why are you here?" I asked her.

"I wanted to make sure you were okay," Camila said sincerely. I smiled and walked towards her direction, and closed the apartment door.

"Take a seat?" Camila nodded and walked towards my sofa, I followed close behind.

"I'm fine, I swear." I looked at her, "But you and I both know that-that is not the reason why you're here." Camila looked away from me. I sighed and scooted closer to the woman.

"Are you okay?" I asked her.

"I don't want you to stop." My eyebrows furrowed.

"What?"

"Please don't stop liking me," Camila's voice cracked.

"Camila-"

"I'm a vampire."

I looked at the woman in front of me, and pulled out my phone.

"Who are you calling?" Camila asked me.

"A cab, you're too drunk to be here and I can't drive." Camila snatched my phone from my hands. "What the hell?!" I got up from my seat. She followed behind.

"Just listen to me, okay?" She said.

"Give me my phone back," I said as calmly as I could.

"I will give it to you as soon as you listen to me, okay?" I shook my head.

"Yore delusional! What the fuck do you mean vampire? What did you drink? Or what are you on?" I asked her. Camila rolled her eyes.

"I promised myself I would not do this, so I'm sorry." I  looked at her confused.

"What are you-"

"You will listen to what I say, and will not say a word until I allow you to." I felt my eyebrows raise as I tried to speak but nothing came out.

Camila's POV

I swore to myself that it would never happen, not if I had the power to. Yet here I was, once again, compelling Lauren to listen to me. I walked back to the sofa and took a seat.

"Sit," I said and the girl did as told. "I am going to get in so much trouble with Liam because of this, but I can't hide all of it from you anymore. You have to understand that there is a lot I cannot tell you for both your safety and mine, but you are getting so close to the truth either way. Do you remember what happened earlier? When I...you know, healed you?" She didn't respond, I sighed.

"Just nod or shake your head." She nodded her head yes.

"Good, well, I know this is going to sound crazy, but you have to believe me on this, okay?" Lauren nodded once more. There was a brief silence in the room and the. I spoke again. "I'm a vampire, Lauren." I looked at her. "You can talk now," Lauren started to speak as if her life depended on it.

"Camila, this seriously is not funny, why cant I control my actions anymore?!" I sighed.

"Don't scream, okay?"

"What do you mean-" I snapped my fingers and she stopped speaking. Being a vampire benefits at times.

"I understand that you can't understand this, any of it, but you already lived through this, something happened and, well, you forgot everything. I can't give you all your memories back, Lauren, but I can make you remember things if I want you to. But for now, all I can do is show you." I closed my eyes and prayed to not cut them while I removed my contact lance. Lauren's eyes widened and her mouth dropped. "You can speak, Lauren."
