"You lied to me, Camila!" I yelled. "I don't care anymore!" Lauren cleared her angry tears from her cheeks. "You never wanted to be with me, remember? You told me the day I went after the cure for you?!"

"Lauren-" She turned to Andrew.

"I'm ready."

"Lauren don't!" Liam yelled.

"All you need to do is turn it off." Andrew told her. "Reach into all the hate you have inside you and turn it off, Lauren." Lauren looked at me once more. I could see it in her eyes. She is broken, because of me. Lauren then looked down, and closed them shut.

"That's my girl. You can do it." Lauren stood silent, eyes closed and hands in heavy fists. They suddenly opened. Lauren opened her eyes, and turned to face me, a cold smirk on her face.

"Hello, Camila."

Camila's POV

I had been in this situation multiple times. Lauren had shut humanity off from her system multiple times, but this time, right now--it feels different. I know it is different. Lauren spoke again.

"It is quite rude of you to not answer my greeting," My eyes begun to blink rapidly, battling not to let the tears fall.

"Lauren you have to turn it back on-" Lauren laughed coldly.

"Are you kidding? It is only in this situation where I feel alive, Camila." Lauren turned to face Andrew. "By the way, Madame Elik sent you a message."

"A message?" Lauren nodded.

"I have all my powers back," Lauren stated. Andrew's eyebrows rose. "I vaguely remember you-you now, stabbing me to death?" Lauren's jaw clanged and she walked closer to the Sustay.

"What was it Elik told you to tell me?" The man asked. Lauren crossed her arms.

"Well...she didn't exactly tell me to tell you this but-" Lauren walked until she was face to face with Andrew, only a foot or so away from him. "Mort," Andrew's body begun to convulse and suddenly fell to the ground. Liam gasped and walked towards me.

"Camila we have to leave," He placed a hand on my back and begun to push me back towards the path we had come through. Andrew's body was thrown over our heads and Lauren laughed.

"Why would you ever try to run away from me, Camila?" Liam pushed my body in back of his, and Lauren laughed. "You know, Liam-" Lauren's irises turned a blood red, and she rose her hand towards the young prince. "-it is wrong to come between people 'in love'," Lauren swatted her hand and Liam's body flew across the forest ground. She turned her attention back to me. "You know, Camila, it was quite shocking for me to find out that you had been hiding my past from me. All these memories of gold and diamonds needed to be given back to me. I know that if it was up to your selfish acts and you were in my position at this very moment, you would not miss a heartbeat before telling me the truth." Lauren walked back. "I don't wish to hurt you, Camila, but I have a request for you," I walked towards the powerful raven haired woman.

"What is it?"

"I want you to watch your back, because If you ever cross my path, I will end you," Lauren walked back towards me, and I couldn't help the way I walked away from her. "Do you understand?" She asked me.

"Lauren-"

"Do you understand?!" I jumped and nodded my head. Lauren smirked. "Oh, and by the way-" She stepped back. "-I fucked Lucy." With one final malevolent smirk on her face, Lauren rose her left hand and snapped her fingers. In the blink of an eye, she disappeared. Liam yelled from his place on the ground. I rushed to him.
