Camila's POV

There was a torturous ringing in my ears. Upon hearing what Andrew had said, I could not bare the sting in my heart that grew with every passing second.

Have you ever been in this position? The type in which you can actually feel the pain in your chest when you hear something that you don't want to?

Andrew laughed and I was instantly was snapped out of my thoughts.

"Care to tell me where my dear Lauren is, Camila?" I felt my body begin to tremble. This could not be happening. "Camila?" The vampire smirked. Without a second thought, I begun to flip through the pages of the velvet colored book, in search of a way to return the evil being to the spirit world; but suddenly, the scarlet book was snatched from my hands by an invisible force. I looked up to look at the man.

"What do you think you're trying to do?" He asked me in a malevolent tone.

"Trying to take you back where you belong!"

"Camila. My dear, dear, Camila," Andrew walked towards me, lifting his hand up to eye level. "Why are you so afraid of me going anywhere near your girlfriend?" I looked away from him; the man gasped dramatically. "You two are not together anymore?" He laughed coldly and swatted his hand in my direction. My body was thrown back with great force. I gasped.

"How did you-"

"Madame Elik and I became great friends," I tried to get up but found out I had no control over my body. "I learned that you don't have to be a witch to be able to perform magic. Look at me—I learned so fast." I begun to move my body in attempt to get up. "Moving will not help. You must be quite puzzled by this, correct?" He asked me.

"Stay away from her!" I yelled.

"That is not the way to speak to me," I clanged his fist shut and I felt a deep pang in my stomach. I yelled in pain. "Stop!" I begun to cough and felt my heart stop when I saw the blood coming out of my mouth.

"I'll stop," I yelled once more when the pain begun to increase. "All you need to do is tell me where Lauren is."

"I'm not going to do that!"

"Very well," The pain stopped completely. I tried my best to push my self up using my elbows, with the only ounce of energy left. I watched as Andrew approached me. The man crouched down to meet me at eye level. "I have a friend who will help me find Lauren without your help." His cold hands caressed my face. "Have you ever heard of a dark witch, Olivia Landon?" I looked up.

"That's not possible! We killed every single dark witch while Lauren was in New York!" Andrew smiled coldly.

"New York?! The New York Reaper was back in her natural habitat?" He clapped his hands together. "Oh boy! I missed more than I thought. Oh how I missed this place!" I rose to my feet.
