Loving You, Leo

The Day Off, The Day Of.

I wake up to the sound of yelling and running around. I look at my clock and realize that I'm late for work. Second day and I'm late. I get up quickly, jump in the shower and get ready for work as fast as I can. I grab my purse and put my phone and it's charger, keys, tinted lip balm (after putting some on my lips), glasses case, and wallet in it. More like throw everything in, and run down stairs. I wish my family great day and try to run out the door only to be stopped by mom. Women, always wanting to feed her kids before letting them leave. I took the doughnut and Glass of milk she was holding out to me and I finished it quickly before leaving.

I was excited for work today because, well for a number of reasons. I was going to spend time with my new friends, although I do wish there was a girl I could also hang out with. My parents aren't exactly thrilled that I'll be spending so much time with lots of guys. I was acting, I love my job. It's one the one thing that keeps me happy.

My dad was waiting for me in the car so I quickly got in. He dropped me off at the studio, thank God we lived close. It was only 15 minutes from our house to the studio which wasn't bad. I kissed him goodbye and went up to the security guards. I showed them my pass because I didn't think they were used to seeing me yet. They let me in and I half walked, half ran into my dressing room, only to see the boys sitting in there as if it were they're room.

"You're late" said Dylan, who was on the floor with his laptop.

"Yeah don't remind me. Guys, you have your own dressing rooms. Why do you insist on coming in here? A girl needs her privacy" I said to them as I put my things down on the vanity.

"Your room is the closest to the set" replied Leo, who was sitting on my couch with his feet propped up on the table and his eyes closed.

"Fine. Hey, what time is it?" I asked to no one in particular.

"9:15" replied Téo from his spot beside Leo.

"9:15?! I'm an hour and 15 minutes late and you three are just sitting here?! Why aren't you guys on set filming?"

"Jim is late, and so are some of the crew. He called me earlier and told us to hang out until they showed up. Which is why nobody called you to get here. So you're fine"

"Oh my gosh, I am so lucky. Leo, I thought Jim would have my head." I sat down at the far end of the couch and put my head in my hands and exhaled. I was tired, I hadn't been able to sleep last few nights because of what happened at the mall on Friday.

"You're lucky to have me right here beside you, chica. And like Leo you said, you're FINE"

"Not now Téo please, I'm not in the mood." I said still while I held my head in my hands. I felt a little movement of the couch and then I felt a large warm hand rubbing circles on my back. Leo had switched places with Téo, just to do that.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing Leo, I'm just tired. I couldn't sleep much last night"

"Is it because of your friends back at the mall?"

"Yeah, but we just met, I don't want to burden you with my problems"

"I know we just met and all but know that you can tell me anything. Anything at all. I'm here for you."

"Thanks Leo. Right now, I'm just waiting to get to work and get my mind off of the lunch date I have later." I smiled up at him and from the corner of my eye, I saw a dejected Téo and a camera flash coming from Dylan.

"What was that for?" Asked Leo to Dylan.

"Nothing" he said, grinning.

I looked at Leo and asked what time Jim and the crew would show up. He shrugged. Jim didn't tell him. So we hung out for a few more minutes until Leo recieved a call. After a minute of talking, he hung up and put his phone in his pocket.
