The Audition

Rosie's POV

We Finally Arrived At The LAX Airport In Los Angeles And I Woke Up Excitedly. We Waited Until The Passengers In Front Of Us Boarded Off The Airplane. When We Got Off The Airplane, I Stood Amazed And I Looked Around At Huge Airport. "Let's Go", My Sister Says. We Walked To The Baggage Claim Area And I Bump Into Someone Accidentally.

"I'm So Sorry", I Say To The Person I Bumped Into As I Picked Up My Carry-On.

"It's Fine", He Says. I Looked Up At Him. He Was An Older Man In His Late 30's.

"Hey Do You Act?" He asked Me.

"Yes"

"Come By The Disney Studios For An Audition On Friday Two Weeks From Now, We Need Someone Like You", He Said Handing Me A Card

"Thank you, I Have To Go", I Say To Him. I Start Walking Because The Rest Of My Family Is Out Of Sight.

~•~•~ Two Weeks Later~•~•~

"Mom, Hurry! We're Gonna Be Late!", I Yell As I Grab My Bag And Run Out The Door. My Audition Is Today And I Can't Be Late. My Mom Grabs Her Car Keys And Off We Went To The Studios.

We Drove Around Until We Saw The Studio. We Found A parking Spot And We Went To The Doors Of The Building.

"I'll Leave You Here and You Call Me When The Audition Is Over, Okay?", My Mom Said To Me As She Kissed My Cheek. "Okay, Bye Mami!", I said.

I Had To Pass Some Security So I Showed Them My Pass. They Let Me Through. I Walked into A Room and There Were A Lot of People Waiting To Audition. I Waited For What Seemed Like Hours which Was Only 30 Minutes Until A Short Lady In A Business Suit And Heels Came Out And Called My Name.

"Rosella Perez!"

"Here!"

"Please Come With Me, It Is Time For Your Audition" She said. I Got Up And Walked With Her Into A Small Room. There Were Two Men In Business Suits Who Were Sitting At A Table Filled With Papers And Coffee Mugs Scattered Everywhere.

"Please Stand Against The Wall And Complete Your Audition While Looking At The Camera", Said One Of The Men. I Ran Through My Lines They Way I Had Studied Them And when I Completed My Audition I Was Dismissed. They Told Me That They Would Call Me If I made It In Or Not.

~•~•~Three Days Later~•~•~

It's Been Three Days Since The Audition And They Haven't Called Me. Maybe It's Too Soon, Yeah Its Too Soon. I Think To Myself As My Phone Rings. Hmmm Unknown Number, I Answer It Anyway.

"Hello?"

"Miss Rosella Perez? "

"Yes, This Is Her"

"Hello, Miss Perez, My Name Is Jim O'Doherty. I Am Calling To Inform You That You Made It Into Disney!"

"Yay! Okay, But What Show Am I Going To Be In?"

"You Will Be In The Show Kickin' It. You Have Heard About It Right?"

"Yes, I Have. Who Is My Character And How Many Episodes Am I In?"

"I'll Send You A Packet With All The Information About Everything In It. It Will Tell You About Your Character And Your Script.You Will Receive It Tomorrow." He Said With A Laugh.

"Okay, Thank You For That. So When Should I Come In.?"

"Come Here To The Studios On Friday Of This Week So In Three Days. We Look Forward To Meeting You Rosella! Have A Nice Day! Good Bye!"

"Thank You So Much! I'll Be There Friday. Bye!" I Hung Up The Phone And Ran Downstairs To The Kitchen Where My Parents Were.

"I Got The Part In a Show!", I Screamed While Jumping Up And Down Excitedly. "Good For You! What Show is it?", My Dad Said. "Kickin' It!", I Said! "Did I Hear Right? Did you say Kickin' It?!" My Sister, Stefanie Says As She Walks Into the Room. "Yes!" I Say Jumping Up And Down Excitedly. I Told Them About The Info Packets And When I Have To Show Up To The Studio.

~•~•~Friday-Three Days Later~•~•~

I Got To The Studio Early Because Jim Told Me He Needed To Talk To Me About My Character And The Cast. He Was Also Going To Give Me A Tour Of The Studio Building.

I Showed My Pass To The Security Guards Because They Weren't Really Used To Seeing Me Yet. They Let Me Pass And I Went In. I Noticed A Lot Of Crew People Running Around With Props And Cameras And Such. A Man In A Suit Noticed Me As I Looked Around And He Walked Over To Me.

"Hello, Miss Perez, I'm Jim. We Spoke Over The Phone A Few Days Ago." He Started.

"Hi, Yeah I Recognized Your Voice From The Phone Call. Nice To Meet You." I Said In My Nicest Voice. I Didn't Want To Seem Rude And Have Him Dislike Me. I Really Need This Job.

He Gave A Me Tour Of The Place And He Led Me To My Dressing Room. Jim Told Me To Wait And Go Other The Script In The Dressing Room While The Rest Of The Actors And Crew Showed Up. The Room Was Rather Small And Cozy But It Had A Private Restroom. It Had A Small Closet, A Dresser With A Mirror Attach To It, And A Really Small Couch. The Walls Were Painted A Creamish Color. "This Place Needs A Splash Of Color," I Said To Myself.

All Of A Sudden, I Hear People Talking And Laughing Outside The Dressing Room. I Decided To Look Around. As Soon As I Opened The Door, Three Guys Rush In And Sit In The Seats. I Just Look At Them Confused. They Finally Stopped Talking But They Were Just Staring At Me. I Recognized The Guys From The Show, But It Seems Like Someone Was Missing. One Of The Guys Spoke Up.

"Hi, We're Very Sorry To Just Barge In Like This. We Were Told There Was A New Girl And We Wanted To Meet You First"

Well, Chapter 2 Is Up. Not Really Much Of A Cliffhanger On This One. I Can't Decide What I'm Gonna Name My Story Yet. Maybe It's Too Early. I Don't Know. I'm Still Kinda New To This And I Haven't Been On Wattpad A Lot Lately. Anyway, I'm Gonna Try To Keep Writing And See Where It Gets Me.
