Hands of gentle wool
Hold me like you don't know
Love me as our tears pool
Just say you won't go
I'll stay as long as I know
That you can't let go
I can wait a twenty years
And I can feel no touch
I can cry a thousand tears
But losing you would be too muchLosing you is what I fear
Even in this loveless girl
I'll live so long as you can peer
I'll eat so long as I'm your seed pearl
This loveless marriage
Isn't so bad
Until I see you both ride away in carriage
But I'll get you back, with your touches I hadHer tears give me pride
She runs from my words
Because I was at your side
I plucked you away such as the birds
Even without your love
I could still feel your touch
You glared from above
Touch is fine, love is too muchLosing you is what I fear
Even in this loveless girl
I'll live so long as you can peer
I'll eat so long as I'm your seed pearl
Your loving marriage
Is one I envy
I ripped her from your carriage
With only me you then seeLosing you is what I fear
But with only me
I get to keep you here
Because I'll be the only girl that you see
