~Junko's POV~

They're all idiots. They think they know what to do, but they have no idea what they're doing. Even I don't know how long this'll take. They don't know who the REAL mastermind is. I'm only doing this for them. I'm doing it for ****. I only care for them. And them alone. They gave me life. They helped me. They... saved me. I will never let that kindness go to waste or be taken advantage of. I will watch over them for as long as  live.

~3rd Person POV~

Not a single word was muttered as the elevator descended to the trial room. Junko stood around, smiling brightly as she glanced at every student until her gaze fell upon one in particular. Kirigiri. Unlike the others, she had a look of boredom plastered on her face. While other's feared what was to occur, she was quite prepared for what was going to happen next.

                                                                    ********************

After the ride that took seemingly an eternity, the elevator came to an abrupt halt, causing the few people left to flinch slightly. All walked out of the small space, making their ways to their podiums. Just as everyone arrived, Monokuma appeared, standing in front of Junko on her podium. He did a few unnecessary spins before stopping to make his small paw point toward the ceiling. "LET THE TRIAL... COMMENCE!" After saying that, he slumped down into his chair and drifted of to sleep.

"Uhm..." Asahina started, "What are we supposed to do, exactly..?" Junko laughed loudly, making the others jump in surprise.

"We're supposed to find the mastermind, duh!" Junko continued laughing as Togami scoffed, rolling his eyes. "We have already found her, have we not?" He pointed his finger at Junko, who just stood there, smirking.

Naegi perked up, countering Togami's statement with, "Not necessarily... she could always be lying to keep someone's cov-" "Can we hurry this up?" Junko interrupted. "Any one of us could be suspicious. And we all know this," Kirigiri stated.

Toko raised her hand, sheepishly. "B-But how do you suppose we do that...? W-We don't even know where to start..."  Hagakure stood, silently, staring into his crystal ball. No one really paid attention to his actions, knowing that his prediction was less than likely to actually happen. No one had any idea as to where they should start before Asahina looked up at everyone, a smile plastered on her face. "What if we played a game of 20 questions with Junko?!" She suggested happily.

Togami adjusted his glasses. "This hardly seem like the time for games, peasant." Asahina scoffed, fixing her hair. "I didn't mean as a game game, I mean as a way to get information."

"That's a great idea!" Hagakure yelled.

"But what if she lies?" Naegi and Kirigiri said, in unison and in a 'matter of fact' way. They all turned to Junko, who the turned to Monokuma. The multicolored bear sighed before waving his hand, saying,"Yeah, yeah, Junko tell them the whole truth." Junko smiles, yet a murderous glare still resided in her eyes.

"Okay! Ask your questions, starting... NOW!" Junko shoved her finger in the air as Asahina immediately asked a question, leaning forward on her podium.

"Who is the real Mastermi-" "NOPE THAT"S THE ONE THING SHE CANNOT SAY!" Monokuma cut her off as Junko snickered. Asahina pouted as she looked at Junko and asked, "Are they a boy or a girl?"

Junko smirked as she brushed off her clothes and answered with, "SHE is a proud female! That is one question!" Asahina glanced around the room, a worried look filling her eyes. "That could only mean Toko, Kirigiri and myself..."

Naegi was next to ask a question, standing tall and confident. "Are you a follower of the Mastermind?" "YES! I'm her biggest and most loyal fan!" Kirgiri eyed Junko, her gaze eventually falling back to the others.

"That means that she is not the Mastermind. Even if she wasn't told to tell the whole truth, did you see the look in her eyes? She was so.... passionate... I believe that Junko is not the Mastermind." Togami nodded in reply. "Yes, she seems to be a mere commoner compared to her master, we could call her." Toko then nodded intensely, drooling a bit. "Y-Yes! I agree woth master Byakuya! Anything he says is correct!"

"You have 18 questions left," Junko reminded them. All of the students glances at one another before starting to bombard her with questions.

[TIME SKIP BROUGHT TO YOU BY THE AUTHORS LAZINESS]

Naegi looked up to the other students. A feeling of dread filling the room as they realized who the true Mastermind was behind this whole operation. The girl was shaking and crying, looking at everyone as her glasses nearly slid off her face.

Toko.

"Hahaha~ yup! This is the Mastermind and the only person I respect in the entire world!" Junko was extremely happy, whereas took was shaking and mumbling, trying to prove her innocence when she suddenly passes out and wakes up as none other than Genocider Syo.

"HAHAHAHAHA THAT"S RIGHT BITCHES! I"M THE ONE WHO TRAPPED YOU SLUTBAGS IN HERE TO KILL EACHOTHER!!" Syo continued laughing, Junko following soon after. All the other's stood in shock as Naegi punched his podium.

"How could you....? You caused so much despair... and... " He looked down at his podium. The two girls were still laughing hysterically as Syo snapped her fingers. "Oh yeah! I almost forgot. I'm going to kill you all. Or, Junko is, really. I only kill hot guys. Like Byakuya over there~" Togami looked away, scoffing.

"I would never love garbage like yourself. I wouldn't even spit in your direction." Syo giggled. "You have no choice, love~" She made a gesture with her hands to Junko, who then pulled out a walkie-talkie and said, "Restrain him."

Suddenly, a swarm of people  in black and white Monokuma masks rushed in, putting Byakuya in shackles next to Syo as he fought back. She ran her finger along his jaw, smirking evily. "I'll have my fun with you later~"

Byakuya continued fighting just before Junko pressed a button, causing the floor underneath the other students' podiums to fall inward. They all started to fall. As they fell, they all saw the person the cared about most at the bottom of the pit. Their beloveds were calling out to them, telling them to keep falling. They all eventually fell to the bottom, where there were large spikes and moving blades where they were supposed to hit the ground. That was the end of the 78th class of Hope's Peak Academy.

This was all kept from the public, but rumors were still spread. To this day, no one has any idea what happened to the three that were left alive, Togami, Junko and Toko. Stories spread that Togami died by the hands of Junko, making Toko kill Junko and Syo killed herself, bringing Toko along with her. Other random rumors were spread, but most were merely nonsensical ideas. But maybe one day, we will see the return of the Mastermind, and have despair brought upon the world.
