Another Day At The Mall
It was Saturday morning and Liyah's parents had come to pick up Egypt. She kissed Egypt goodbye and sent her off with her Grandparents. Liyah played her favorite song, Dear No One by Tori Kelly, and got in the shower. She used her favorite body wash, Pink Chiffon, which she bought from Bath & Body Works. after her shower she went to her room and got dressed. She wore a tight black t-shirt , some white high waisted jeans, a red scarf , and black Jimmy choo flats. She put her hair in a messy bun and put on her favorite Mac lipstick. She grabbed her iPhone and called her best friend Rick. "Hello?" said Rick. "Can you drop me off at the mall please? " asked Liyah. "What time do you wanna be picked up?" asked Rick. "Now" said Liyah. Rick said "Okay I'll be there in 5 minutes. " Lots hung up and grabbed her Luis Vuitton purse and her leather jacket and went dowstairs to grab a PopTart and waited for Rick. When her best friend arrived She hopped in the passenger side of his Lexus and they were mall bound. Rick and Liyah were friends since her freshman year at Lion Hill High,
but they became best Friends shortly after graduation. Abby, Leela, Nene and Deena were still her friends, but they weren't as close as She and Rick were. She looked at Rick as though he were a big brother. She told him everything, and he told her everything. They hung out a lot. Other than Rick, Jay was also someone She looked up to as a brother. They'd been friends since She was 3 years old. But Jay moved to New York, so Rick was the only brother She had left.
"Hey youngin" Rick said as Liyah got in the car. "What's up" said Liyah. Just then Liyah's phone played Shit by Future , which was her ringtone. She looked at her phone and smiled. "Hey" She said as She answered the phone. "Hi Gorgeous , what are you doing?" asked August. "I'm in the car with my best friend Rick, on my way to the mall" said Liyah. "Oh really?!? Guess where I am." said August. "Where?" asked Liyah. "I'm at the mall." said August. Liyah smiled "Well I can't wait to see you" said Liyah. "Me either, I'll be in the food court" said August. Liyah smiled and hung up the phone. "Well who was that?" Rick asked. Liyah giggled "A friend" said Liyah. "What kind of friend?" asked Rick. Liyah's cheeks were turning red and She couldn't stop smiling. "A friend " She repeated. "Friends don't make you smile like that. Who is he? " asked Rico. Liyah quickly switched the subject "It's hot, roll down the windows." Rick rolled the windows down and turned the radio up. The song Don't Drop That Thun Thun Thun played and they sang along the rest of the ride.
When they arrived at the mall Rick went to DTLR and told liyah to meet him at H&M within an hour. Liyah headed strait toward the food court. There stood August at the Subway Counter. He wore a red Trukfit T-shirt, True Religion Jeans, a Miami Heat Snapback, an Armani Exchange belt, and some red and black Dopes. Liyah couldn't help but notice how sexy he was. His muscled bulged through his shirt and his smile made her panties wet. She desired him. She didn't want to go over to him just yet, so She decided to stop at Starbucks. A teen boy smiled and said "Hello miss. Welcome to Starbucks. How may I help you? " Liyah said "I'd like a medim iced frappechino with two pumps of chocolate, whipped cream and caramel on top please? " the boy smiled. "Will that be all?" Before Liyah said anything, from behind her a familiar voice said "Make that two, and I'll pay." Liyah turned around and saw August standing there smiling. He wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her in for a hug. "So, where's Egypt?" asked August. "She's spending the weekend with my parents" said Liyah, still in August's arms.
They grabbed the coffee and sat at a table. "So, what brings you to the mall today?" asked August. "I need to pamper myself, so I'm going to the spa and the nail salon" said Liyah. "Well what are you waiting on? Let's go." said August. They stood and he wrapped his arm around her and they went to the nail salon and the spa. Liyah didn't have to spend a dime. August payed for everything.
He took her to every store in the mall that She liked. He bought her anything She wanted with no hesitation. While in Charlotte Russe, her phone rang. She looked at the caller ID to see that it was Rick calling. "Hello? " said Liyah. "Are you ready to go home? " asked Rick. Liyah said "yeah I'll be at H&M in 10 minutes." She hung up. "Who was that?" asked August. "It's my best friend he's ready to go home." said Liyah. August frowned and wrapped his hands around her waist. "I don't want you to go." said August. "I know, but Rick's my ride home, I have to leave." said Liyah. Just then, August grabbed Liyah's phone and called Rick. "Hello? Rick? This is Liyah's boyfriend. She'll be fine, I'll take her home, so go ahead home my man. Thanks for bringing her here though." He hung up and smiled. "You don't have to leave, you can stay here with me." Said August. Liyah smiled and said "My boyfriend? I didn't know you were my boyfriend." He laughed and said "Well you know now."
They did Lots more shopping and were hungry. They went to the food court, grabbed Quizno's, and left the mall. They walked through the parking lot and he unlocked a silver Bugatti. "Damn, how many cars you got?" asked Liyah. August laughed as he put all the bags in the trunk. "I have 3" said August. He got in the driver's seat and they pulled off. Fuck You by Yo Gotti played on the radio and Liyah rapped every word and August rapped along. August had made a wrong turn. "You turned down the wrong street" said Liyah. With a smile August said "Oh really? Okay I'll find my way there". They pulled into a gravel driveway and Liyah looked up to see them parking in front of an enormous two-story estate with many windows. It was breathtaking. "Where are we?" asked Liyah. "We're at my place" said August as they got out of the car. August walked to the front door and turned the key. He opened the door and clapped twice. When he clapped, the lights came on. The house was luxurious on the inside. Marble floors, vaulted ceilings, flat screen TV's, and the most beautiful chandelier hanging from the ceiling. It was so beautiful. Liyah noticed a piano in the middle of the floor. "You play piano?" asked Liyah. "Yeah. Come here, I'll play for you." Liyah sat on the piano bench next to August as he played. She then noticed the tune. If I Ain't Got You by Alicia keys is what he was playing. She began singing along. "Some people live for the fortune. And some people live just for the fame. Some people live for the power yeah. And some people live just to play the game." August smiled and said "You never told me you could sing." "You never asked." said Liyah
