4:31 to 4:40

We limp to the camp. Jack is so heavy and I hope we get there soon. Not only so he can get help but so I can get his weight off. He is like a dead weigt...

Wait. Wrong simily.

Great. I have him dying to fear now. I can see the camp in the distance. In the time we were gone, a crowd of parents had came and the had caution tape keeping the out of the camp. They have officers with clip boards getting parents. By my guess they must have took names of parents from children and are letting them to the injured. The rest are questioned then let go most likely.

I have been trying to get a hold of chief but I understand if he left after I almost ruined the plan. Or maybe to keep people in order. I could see him now calming the distant relatives of children begging to be let through. He wouldn't budge.

He turned to look at us and when he saw us dragging my brother, he ordered two nurses to help. They carried him to the medical tent that was now full. "Jess, I'm going to go have a questioning. You can go find Miss Ev..."

I answered for her, "Just Eve. I'll see you soon." After a quick and quite hug, I left to search out my stepmother.

After asking a few people I finally went up to chief. Big mistake.

Before I even realize he'd knew I was there he said, "Why did you do that."

"Look I am sorry."

"What happened?"

"My brother's friend told me where he was. He saw me and began to crawl to me. He was by Kyle and he saw. He was about to fully turn around when I ran up to have him snap away from everyone. I didn't want him to see anybody." I murmured the last part, "Not that it mattered."

"What did you say?"

"It wouldn't have mattered. He wanted everyone to leave. All he wanted was all of us to be there. He offered us a deal. It was... It was horrible, sir." I am going to stay strong. I didn't want to explain any further. Evan could do that. For now I had to find Eve. "Look, sir, I am guaranteed Evan will have his story told and if you still need information then talk to me. But right now I need to find Evangeline, the woman who..."

"I know who you are talking about. She hasn't moved from my tent." I smiled and gave a stout nod before stiffly walking away. The stiffness in my shoulders go away when I spot her pacing under the tent. I ran over to her and tapped her on the shoulder. "Oh! Oh my goodness. You scared me. How did it go?" I think the question was more aimed to How is Jack?

"We got every..."

"Where's Jack at?" I looked at her. I don't want her mamma bear anger to act on me. I crunched my eyebrows together and started fidgeting with a strand of heir. "Jessica May Delman, where is Jack." Not my full name. Please don't do that. She was nearly yelling.

"In the hospital tent." She yelped and her limp started quivering. "I know where it is and we can go visit him." She nodded and we walked over to the tent. On the way there I saw Evan at a tent being questioned. The officer nodded that he could go, not looking up from his notepad. Evan spotted me and ran over. "Eve. The tent is over there." I pointed to it. "I'll catch up with you." She looked over and saw Evan and smiled. "OK."

"Hello." I had my arms crossed and he bent over to kiss my forehead. I looked up at him with a frown hiding the big smile that wanted to form.

"I think she is glad we are dating." I hate that. Jack is going to make fun of us so much. He use to make bets we would date. I would blush and sometimes, so would Evan. I know why now.

"Oh come on I am pretty happy. He picked me up and I screamed. "Evan! Put me down!" When he started to put me down I whispered, "People might be watching." He smirks. Oh no.

"Then let's give them something to look at." My eyes widen and I take off in the other direction. Evan chases after me. I can see people staring but I didn't care. I enjoyed this. I ran to a small patch of a lifted wooded bridge. It had benches on it and it went over a ditch in front the school. I ran to the highest  point and turned to look at Evan. I had a large smile on my face and breathed heavily. I couldn't find Evan. The bridge is surrounded by trees that dip all the way to the ground, he must be on the other side, where I can't see him. Although I didn't check behind me. He came up behind me and picked me up. I giggled until I lost my breath and couldn't laugh anymore. He sat down on the bench and put me on his lap. He pulled me close and I snuggled up close to him. I nearly fell asleep before he said something. "I love you."

"I love you." It came out so easily, but it was the greatest truth I have ever said. I think back to the many horror movies I have watched. Scream 1 and 2. This is kind of like this. Every one has a connection to the murderer. Someone has a stupid motive and decides to go on a killing spree. We at least know who it is. Then there is I know and still know what you did last summer. The murderer had a connection to everyone had a decision and didn't agree with murderer and so the murderer goes to kill them all. Seems like the perfect story. But wrong. It is the stupidest thing I have ever heard. At least our murderer is around and not hiding.

"What are you thinking about?" I laugh at the thought. "No really. What?

"Horror movies." He looks at me.

"Really?"

"Yeah. I know what you did last summer, I still know what you did last summer, scream, scream 2. All of those. They are somewhat like this." We watched these together so I knew he had seen them. "Am I right?" He nods. The smile on his face disappears. But it reappears as fast as it went. Then there are noises approaching. Footsteps, murmurs, and a gun.

I get up and run to the side of the bridge out of sight. Evan just jumps over railing. He wraps an arm around me and pulls me close. We peep through the railing. There he is. In his eternal glory, not. There is Kyle with a bag that looks a lot like Luke's.
