Maya climbed into Riley's room carrying flowers. Maya entered the same time Riley opened her bedroom door. Riley, was surprised seeing Maya in her room. Especially, with flowers for she thought that Maya was still deciding.
"Maya, what are you doing here? I thought you were still at Topanga's with Farkle, Zay, and Lucas?" Riley asked confused. Maya set the flowers down in the bay window, and walked towards Riley and grabbed her shirt and yanked her forward causing Riley to let out an audible gasp of shock and her eyes to fly open as Maya stood up on her tiptoes and pressed her lips to hers in a passionate kiss. Riley instantly wrapped her arms around Maya's neck and Maya wrapped her arms around Riley's waist. They finally stopped kissing and leaned each other forehead together. Riley opened her eyes and smiled.
"Its you, Riley! It's always been you since the very beginning. Riley, your the reason I woke up when I was in the hospital. Before, I didn't know why my heart kept on beating fast whenever I was around you or thinking about you. But I knew when you smiled. I wanted to smile too. Riley, you will always be my safe place, I love you!" Maya said as she held Riley's hand.
Riley felt many emotions all at once. But, the one she felt most is being heartbroken. Riley let go of Maya's hand, "I don't believe you. How do I know your telling me the truth, Maya?" Riley asked.
"Riley, what are talking about? I chose you! Your the one I want to be with! I know it took me forever to realize but..." Maya was then cut off by Riley.
"What about you fall in love with another girl? Maya, I don't want to be anybody's second choice! I'm sorry Maya, but I don't believe you." Riley said sadly.
"Fine, I'll prove too you that your the one I choose! Come on, grab a jacket we're heading out." Maya said as she started climbing out the window. Riley looked confused but grabbed the jean jacket and followed Maya out.
"Maya, what are we doing in The Museum of Modern Art?" Riley asked confused. But, the only response she got was Maya dragging her. They finally stopped in front of a painting that Cory and Topanga are familiar with.
The painting had night sky filled with swirling clouds, stars ablaze with their own luminescence, and a bright crescent moon. Below the rolling hills of the horizon lies a small town. There is a peaceful essence flowing from the structures. The center point of the town is the tall steeple of the church, reigning largely over the smaller buildings. This steeple casts down a sense of stability onto the town, and also creates a sense of size and seclusion. there is a massive dark structure that develops an even greater sense of size and isolation. From a mountain to a leafy bush, the analysis of this formation is wide and full of variety.
"Riley, how do you expect me to see good in anything when I feel so bad in here." Maya says gesturing to her chest. "For, the love of my life. Doesn't trust me, and thinks I'll move on! Do, you know what I see when I look at this painting? It's just a painting nothing special." Maya says.
"This is a masterpiece." Riley answers as she looks at the painting in front of them. "No, we're a masterpiece. And I don't care what you think right now, we're gonna be together forever. And I know that. And you know it too! The only person I want to spend the rest of my life with is you nobody else." Maya says as holds Riley hands.
