That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;) That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.
1 John 1:1-4 KJVA Statement of the magnitude that we desire cannot be made by words or speeches. It cannot hold it's ground without proof. And that's where YOUR story comes in. What has God done for you? What has God brought you from? This is the place where we take an app designed for making fantasy stories and gathering fans, and use it as a platform for the tried-and-true, the boldest, the oldest, and the most necessary Statement that humanity has ever had.
And for that, we need YOU.
We need your testimonies, that means your story of what God has shown you, given you and brought you from. We need the smallest things, and we need the biggest.
For example, I, NoahShrewsbery, have been delivered from migraines when I prayed for it.
I have also been delivered from mental disorders, severe depression, suicidal obsession and a darkness that I will never be able to explain, not by my own ability, but because God wasn't disgusted by me, even though I was.
Both kinds of testimonies are necessary to the Statement, that there is no problem too big or small for our God. Both will find a home here.
Send us your story in chapter size, and we will copy and paste it verbatim to it's own chapter. Text us over Skype or Facebook, at Noah Shrewsbery and Always His (Hissince2013), or over email at projectchange123@gmail.com !
You don't have to be eloquent or a talented writer or a genius to share your story. All you need is a heart that desires to show the truth of God's love using your story. Everyone who has truly met God has been changed, and so they have in them the greatest story ever told, of a God who stooped low to raise us up.
Many people can't show the world what God is capable of because they live in fear and shame of their history. Do not be ashamed of your past. The Apostle Paul said that if we live in Jesus Christ, our flesh, our old selves are dead. There is no need to be embarrassed by something a dead guy did! If you feel shame for your mistakes, know that God has erased them from your life, and considers you stainless! He says that He doesn't even remember the sins you've done, much less holds you to them!
But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool. For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified. Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before, This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.
Hebrews 10:12-18 KJVThere is a prerequisite, though, to sharing a testimony. Something you absolutely MUST do first: check your motives.
Why are you testifying? Is it to look good, or to make Jesus look good? Is it to encourage others, or yourself? Do you want attention or glory, or by giving away your story will you give all the glory and all the attention and all the praise to God? Prayerfully consider these things, and devote yourself to making your story for Jesus, to encourage and uplift others, with a bold, yet humble, giving heart for the Lord.
Together, we can make this Statement. Together, we can change lives, and by doing so change the world.
