@Project_Change: Thanks so much for giving us this testimony! Mary joined the church less than a year ago (on her bio) and I can't wait to see where she goes with God!

Marr_the_Pony :    Before I was lost, thinking I could never be saved, never be the same. I was about to give up, give up the fight, let the devil win. Something inside me was strong, strong enough to wait it out just one more month.  A month went by, a church, they welcomed me and my family, but still something inside me was lost.

The people were so kind, and nice, and wonderful to us. I and my younger siblings were baptized, I wasn't fully an believer but that helped me. My older sibling still not saved. My grandparents came and watched us get baptized, they gave us chocolates after.

When I was baptized, I didn't want to come out of the water, it was freezing, but in that water I felt safe. I have never felt so safe in water like that.

They wore skirts, long hair, no makeup, no jewelry. I asked questions, I yearned to know more, to know everything. I changed my entire attire and attitude, my ways. Just to please our great wonderful God.

I haven't got the Holy Ghost until after a couple months. It was at this youth rally in Ann Arbor, I've been there before, and felt something unsure of what it was. The second time something inside me changed, and I went to the alter.

Never before did I want to go by myself to the alter, it was like something came over me. Something powerful, God is good.

I was up there and I started to pray, pray like never before. My friend, she came to me and laid a hand on me. Which she was probably scared, for I was. And we both are kind of socially awkward.

Then this girl from church who's husband drives the van found me and laid her hands on me, and she prayed and prayed with me, she spoke in tongues, many other people came by and started praying for me too, but the girl stayed with me the whole time.

I soon was filled with the gift of the Holy Ghost, amen, Jesus.

After I spoke in tongues I prayed some more, and fell in the girls arms, and she hugged me. I opened my eyes, and it was as if I just went to the eye doctor and got new glasses. Everything was clearer and brighter, and I was happier then when I came.
