Chapter 8: Welcome To BigHit

Big Hit, these two measly words overwhelmed you with disbelief. Today is Friday, 1 day before the audition, were you really up for it? Half awake you finished your breakfast, a spoon in one hand, the card in the other. 

7:55, SHOOT! 5 minutes left, your bowl clanked onto the cold, steel surface as you threw it into the sink. "Bye Mom!" You called as you rushed out the door, slipping the card into your pocket.

Huff...huff...you panted as you joined the crowd. Phew, you managed to just make it in time. Now, time to be serious. You scanned the crowd, there he is, you bit your lip and walked over, 

"Look...Jae I-"

"I'm sorry," Jae cut through your speech, he looked down.

"Oh, I..." You looked at him in surprise, that wan't like him at all, apologising to you first. You smiled. "No, I'm the one who should say sorry, Sorry."

He smiled back, for the first time. "Then we're equal, You're no loner."

"And you're no fatty" You continued, "Well then, Bye!" You waved your hand and ran towards Taehyung, grinning.

Finally, another week of school had finished, and all the weights that pulled you down were now lifted, well, all except one... The Audition.

You slumped down on the couch pulling on your headphones, you tapped at the table as you took out the card and looked at it again, this was probably your ten thousandth time looking at it, you knew that, but you couldn't help it. 

It had been your dream to become an idol since you were little, you dreamt of the crowd, the stage, it thrilled you. It wasn't like your dream had changed or anything, it was just that you were less confident in achieving it now. 

Even so, you had to go! It was a once in a lifetime opportunity, you can't just let it fly away. You took off your headphones, you made up your mind. You were going.

You looked at the towering building in awe, your stomach was full of butterflies possibly snakes as well.

You checked your watch, it was an hour before the audition and yet there was already a HUGE line flowing out the building. You took a deep breath and joined the queue.

...half an hour went by and you were getting extremely reckless, you were both excited and nervous and was eager to go in already. 

Naturally, you started jumping up and down, attempting to shake all your nerves out. This of course, gained a lot of attention, as tonnes of people turned around and gave you a 'what on earth is she doing?' look.
