[[Taehyung's POV]]

I rustled my hair in frustration as I walked into the classroom, looking around to see if she was there or not, but there was no sign of her.

I frowned and gave myself a huge whack on the head for being so stupid, now she was was angry at me, great.

Annoyed as ever, I slumped down on my seat and rested my head onto my hand, I couldn't think of anything else besides the argument that happened yesterday.

It wasn't on purpose, I was annoyed, I don't deserve to be an idol.

Eventually, all these thoughts had the best of me. I could no longer contain it, I let out a yell of frustration and stalked out the room.

You lay in your bed with your hands outstretched above you, millions, no, trillions of thoughts swam in your head, all of them had to somewhat connect with Taehyung.

Whatever you did, you could not forget the events of last night, why did he change all of a sudden? You bolted up and shook your head, this wouldn't do, you couldn't just stay like this forever.

You grabbed your phone and scrolled through your contacts, you stopped at 'T' and you stared at it, your fingers hovering above the name 'Taehyung', but you couldn't, you teared your eyes away from the screen and slumped down onto your bed, enveloping the warmth while it lasted.

Taehyung sighed as he exited the school, his body aching from head to toe. It had been an awful day for him, first he got a detention for wearing his uniform incorrectly, then he had to clean the school gym as a punishment.

He rubbed the back of his neck as he drew out his phone from his pocket, his eyes skimming through the list of names, until he reached yours.

His heart ached as if your name was filled with poison, every thought of you was like a needle in his heart, all he wanted was to tell you the truth, why he had been so angry and that he was sorry.

"Taehyung!"

Taehyung jumped and spun around, quickly slipping his phone into his pocket.

"Tae Tae!" He saw Hoseok running up to him. "You forgot your-" Hoseok stopped and looked at his face closely. "Why so glum?"

Taehyung looked at him expressionless. "I...I think I really upset someone."

Hoseok smiled at him thoughtfully, "Come, sit."

'Ding'

You sprang up in shock, who would text you so early in the morning? Rubbing your eyes, you half-consciously switched your phone on and scrolled through your notifications.

You stopped. Your eyes widening in disbelief.

It was Taehyung, he texted you. You didn't know how you felt, it was all muddled up together, relief, disappointment, anger, it was all there. You bit your lip and read his messages.

(Y/N) I am extremely sorry for acting like what I was last night, it was all a foolish act, I really didn't mean it, I swear, please understand!

You glared at the screen, anger building up inside of you by the moment, you didn't know why you were so angry. Perhaps it was because of his late reply or maybe that he didn't come to see you personally, it could be both, you didn't know.

As the burning fire rose inside of you, you let out a broken-hearted cry and started typing.

Messages don't heal wounds, Taehyung. I thought you knew better.

You closed your phone and a rush of memories swept over you, You and Taehyung finishing the last bit of spaghetti together, You and Taehyung singing in the finals, You and Taehyung's fight.

Your heart clenched up tightly inside of you, never have you ever felt so broken hearted, you missed him, there was no denying it, it was as though half of your heart was torn away and ripped into pieces.

Helplessly, you let out an anguished sob, which soon turned into a cry as you hugged the blanket tightly around your face, muffling the agonised cries of loss.

Your eyes swelled and ached. After the hours of sobbing, you felt better, as if the pain was all bottled up inside of you, it had all exploded out at once.

You wiped your tears away and took a deep breath, you felt surprisingly calm. All you needed was some fresh air, breathing heavily, you slipped into a coat, scarf and a pair of shoes and headed outside.

The air was chilly as it gently brushed against your skin, you reached for your scarf and pulled it up over your mouth.

You stopped for a moment and looked up into the sky, despite the coldness it was clear, the sun sending rays of shivers down your spine. It was weird, having a sun that provided you with no warmth. You sighed and carried on with your journey.

Soon you reached a row of cherry blossoms, its petals dancing through the air like ballerinas, you smiled as you slipped under the trees to the other side.

This was always the place you had been to when anything troubled you.

The cherry blossom trees that formed a ring had given you independence, it separated you from the outside world.

In the centre of the ring was a lake, that glistened under the light of the sun, the grass was green and soft under your shoes, birds sung their songs in the distance. This place was like a second home to you a place where all troubles vanished into thin air.

You took of your shoes and made your way towards the lake, the grass tickling your feet as you stepped lightly onto the surface.

You were about to dip your feet into the crystal water, when you saw a shadowy figure amongst the branches of the trees on the other side of the lake. Slowly, you moved closer to the figure.

You narrowed your eyes, the figure turned and looked at you.
For a moment his eyes locked onto yours then you gasped and stumbled backwards. No way...It couldn't be...

Taehyung?
