~My Tips for making a Good Cover~
Ensure your story has a good cover.
Tip 1:
Relevant
Try to make your cover relevant to your story. You don't want to make a cover that has nothing to do with your story, it may also confuse the reader.
Tip 2:
Easy to see title
If you are putting the title on your cover, ensure that it's in a large, readable font, therefore it will help draw the readers' eye to your cover.
Tip 3:
Unique
Try to make your cover unique, your own. It will make your story easier to identify as your own for it should hopefully be the only cover that looks like that.
Tip 4:
Apps
I've found it easy to use apps to help create a cover (computer sites and program's are good too, I just prefer to use apps, completely my opinion). Some apps I've found helpful are; Pic Collage and PicsArt. By using an app you can get pictures off the Internet or your own pictures, you can arrange them how ever you want and edit them as much as you want. You can also add text and edit it as much as you want.
If anyone has any questions on how to use these apps feel free to ask.
Tip 5:
Name your cover
Put your name (well username) on your cover to make it your own and no one else can use it.
Tip 6:
Be happy
Most importantly make sure you are happy with your cover because if you don't like it then what's the point? And once again when your happy with your cover nothing else matters.
I hope you found my tips helpful and if you have any questions remember feel free to ask!
