This is my guide to Role Play (also know as RP), when people first join Wattpad a lot of them don't know what Role Play is so here's my explanation.

Role Play is basically where you act out a character in the comments section of someone's book. The owner of the book will give a situation your character is in or a topic for the Role Play and you follow on from that.

Before you start you must read the book; it usually starts with an introduction and rules if not next it will have the form. You usually have to fill out the form and post it in the comments. A form is like a character profile where you make up a character for you to be.

A from usually looks like this:

Name:

Age:

Gender:

Eye colour:

Hair colour:

Personality:

(And more depending on the Role Play)

Once you've done that, the owner of the Role Play will say if you're accepted or not. And once you're accepted you can begin Role Playing.

There are multiple ways in which you can Role Play such as:

1.

First Person

In which you Role Play out your character in first person, just like in a story.

Example:

"See ya!" I say and wave goodbye.

2.

Third Person

In which you act your character in third person, just like in a story.

Example:

"See ya!" Sky said and waved goodbye.

3.

The last one can only be described as a Role Play format and it is used a lot by Role Players. It looks like this:

(Name): (Speech) *(action)*

Example:

Sky: See ya! *waves goodbye*
