~My Tips For How to Become Famous on Wattpad~

Tip 1.

Grammar

Ensure your work(s) have/ has good grammar, punctuation and spelling.

Tip 2.

Plot

Ensure your story has a good and interesting plot. something that makes the reader want to know more or keep reading- now that doesn't mean, you have to end every chapter with a cliff hanger but  just a few here and there.

Tip 3.

Be active

I suggest you be active on Wattpad, you can't just come on every month and expect you've gained another ten followers or so. I think you'll find those who have a lot of followers, are online quite often. Another way to be active is join some clubs and some discussion, even some Role Plays- get to know some people.

Tip 4.

Don't advertise your stories on other people's Message Boards.

You may think it's a good idea for getting your story out there but I'll tell you now- it's not. It does annoy some people when, others are constantly advertising stories on their Message Boards. There are designated places  where you can advertise you stories; such as clubs and discussions.

Tip 5.

Be polite

Don't be rude, sarcastic, or mean to anyone. It's just not nice and I assure you the meaner you are the less people will want to talk to you and the nicer you are the more people will want to talk to you and possibly check out your works.  

Tip 6.

Social Websites

 Wattpad allows you to share your works on other social networking websites. (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest etc) This will add more exposure to your story.  

Tip 7.

Don't make deals with people to vote on each there's stories so that you can gain fame.

I'm sure this has been said before, but just don't do it, you're not being true to yourself by doing that. those votes you've gained from deals, mean nothing because they weren't given to you because someone has liked or enjoyed your story, so your basically just lying to yourself.

Tip 8.

Be Patient

It just had to be said. Your not going to become famous overnight, so just be patient and soon enough, everything will be going your way...
