I looked over at the first picture.
There was a picture of Justin and I at the beach with a side caption.

May 30, 2009
Justin and I went to the beach and had a blast. We skipped rocks and made our names in the sand. I can't believe we have been together for two years, time seems to have passed super quickly.
I knew that day like everything we did was so real I could just feel it.

"Justin," I squealed. "Put me down!"
"Sorry princess, I can't." he laughed.
"But if I fall then I am going to get wet from the ocean." I pouted.
"Well that is just then what will happen."
He hung me from my feet my mid-drift obviously showing. "Hmm," he smiled. "Can I say no to that face?" he asked.
"No." I answered with my biggest puppy dog face.
"Damn Syd, you got me." he said putting me down.
"I love you." I smiled, then I kissed him on the cheek, and took out my Polaroid camera from my bag that was lying on the sand.
I took a picture of the scenery and then a selfie with just us two.
"Perfect." he said kissing my head as we looked at the pictures.

I shut my eyes. Why couldn't life be like that? Right when everything seems good, things crumble. They say you need to just keep fighting but I can't. I'm just too weak.
I took a razor and drew a line representing that day on my wrist.
"For May 30th." I whispered.
