Chapter 2

Tahlia's P.O.V

The sun blinded as it filtered through my thin curtains. Groaning I rolled out of bed and went into the bathroom. After showering I got changed into clothes for the day. I wore black skinnies, a fitted red tee and with my black leather jacket and black ballet flats. Walking down the stairs to my old kitchen I pour myself some cornflakes

Grabbing my bag filled with my books I walk out to my motorbike jump on and rev the engine before racing down my long drive way.

Walking into school I hear people talking about some new kids that are joining the school. The difference between the genders reactions is quite amusing.

Girls are squealing and reapplying makeup whether they have a boyfriend or not.

The guys with girl friends are jealous hearing the girls squeal and make a fuss

And the guys without girlfriends don't really care, although they look a little curious.

"I bet the guys are gorgeous"

"I hope the girls are hot"

"Better not steal my man"

"Better not look at my girl"

The conversations all centred around those 4 topics.

Walking to my locker Bella begins to stir.

'What's up?' I ask her curious

'No idea' she says

Shrugging to myself I find my locker and put my unneeded books away. When the scent from the woods hits me.

Discreetly tilting my head in that direction I see the guy from the pond walking down the hall with a small petite girl with black hair spiking in all directions. I turn away slam my locker shut and run away from the two.

*they are both werewolves* Bella says to me.

'Damn' I mutter to myself.

After sitting in the back of the class I wait for my boring day to begin.

The day was uneventful until lunch. I was sitting minding my own business at my lunch table when the school slut Natasha comes up to me asking for a fight. Well not literally but you get what I mean.

She storms up to me and just stands there and glares. I slowly look up from my nachos to look at her.

'Can I help you?' I ask her.

'Stay away from my man' she says to me.

'What?' I ask her confused. The only guy I have had any interest in getting to know was the guy from the pond and he has only been here for half a day.

'Ryder' she says to me 'stay away from him'

'Who the hell is Ryder?!' I ask her.

I don't know a Ryder. He might me the new kid though

'He is the new gorgeous guy' she tells me

'So he wants you?' I ask her disbelieving.

She only nods.

'Well if he wants you then I'm not gonna bother with him. He'll probably have some disease by the time your through with him' I say

She lets out a pathetic growl.

'You got something in your throat?' I ask her innocently. 'Other then some players dick,

She just lunges at me.

I grab her wrist tightly and she yelps in pain.

Wow she is pathetic I think to myself.

'Let go you slut!' she screams at me. I freeze and glare at her.

'Says the bitch that looks like her number should be on a bathroom wall' I say to her coldly. I hate it when people say stuff like that about me. I tighten my grip on we wrist and she cries out slightly. I let go of her wrist and scowl at her before turning to look at the crowd. Everyone was staring at me until I glared at them all. They quickly resumed conversations and eating their food. I pick up my food and eat the rest before chucking out the plastic plate and storming out of the cafeteria.

Ryder's P.O.V

A day earlier (in the woods)

I was running through the woods in wolf form around my new territory. I was asked over to train a smaller pack because I was alpha of the second strongest pack in the world. I find a small pond and turn into my human form before stripping to my shorts and slipping into the water. It was reasonably warm actually. I'm just swimming and chilling in the water about to get out when I hear a stick snap followed by the thud of a body hitting the ground. I whip my head around to see a white tiger lying on its back with its feet in the air. There is a log in front of it so I'm guessing it fell over the log. I let out a loud laugh and the tiger gives me something that resembled a grin and took off. Wait grin?

Tigers can't grin! I try to run through the water to shore. Harder then it looks. I quickly shift into my wolf as soon as my feet touched the shore. I lost the tiger pretty quickly... It knows the area better than me, giving it an advantage. Walking back to the pack house I thought about what tomorrow held. First day at a new school. Fun. Note the sarcasm.

First day of school for Ryder.

Ryder's P.O.V

School was boring. Sluts threw themselves at me. Guys wanted to become my best friends. Thank god my little sister had to come and help me train. She is by my side to prevent me from pounding the sluts that practically attacked me. I hate fake girls.

My sister is a petite little thing. With a pixie like face. My little Alice. I am very protective. She is quite a pretty thing causing her to catch lots of single guys eyes.

Only one person caught my eye however.

She was a fiery little thing. She had white hair and piercing blue eyes, a great body and an attitude. She also hates it when people disrespect her. She created a scene in the cafeteria when a slut called her a slut.

The reason she caught my eye is because when I laid my eyes on her my wolf Slade started yelling out one word.

'Mate!'
