Happy New Years, everyone! It is I, Luna (dying_moon), back again to feature another KH track.
Ahh, New Years. Have you guys accomplished anything in 2016, or did you fail like me?
I hope you all welcomed 2017 in your lives and are willing to do many things! Since new year means new beginnings, it's time for you (and me) to grab this opportunity to change!
(By the way, make sure you guys will do your New Years resolutions! And yes, yes, I will do mine, too.)
In Kingdom Hearts, new beginnings will always remind me of one world: Traverse Town.
And Traverse Town is our track for this issue!
You all know that Traverse Town is the world Sora landed in after the Heartless attacked Destiny Islands. This is where he met the Final Fantasy characters, Donald, Goofy, and more.
For me, Traverse Town shows Sora's new beginning--how he's going to change and improve a lot--which will affect the whole series.
But one thing I never fail to notice about this world is how calm it is. I mean, I feel great whenever I listen to its theme (a.k.a. the video I put up).
I think this is telling us to start anew with calmness, joy and patience. In that way, we'll be able to set our path straight and get through the year with many achievements. (Just like Sora!)
Anyways, many months ago, I discovered a Traverse Town a capella cover by Smooth McGroove. Here it is:
I remember the first time I heard this, I listened to this non-stop everyday. That's how addicted I was.
(By the way, I really love his cat ^^)
I also found this video by Moises Nieto wherein he covered Traverse Town using an Otomatone!
And it's design is a Heartless! Where can I buy that?!
