Chapter 4: Training Stryker

Hookfang's POV

So after we had gotten down to to the arena, Stryker had a bolt of lightning shot down at her. Snoutlout tripped back into the dome and I couldn't help but chuckle, my head went back to Stryker who was unharmed by the bolt and giggling and chasing her tail.

The wing beats of the other scaly beasts soon snuck under the giggling of Stryker. Hiccup and the others lept off their mounts and rushed to help Snoutlout.

Barf and Belch both coiled their necks around the Skrill to examine her.

"Another one?" Barf asked, knowing the question was unnecessary.

"What do you think Gas-brain?" Belch replied.

Stryker began to look confused and rushed to me, hiding by my head. Toothless walked forward and smiled, "This is going to be a handful." I chuckled along a bit, "So far she hasn't tried to kill any of us so far."

"Well that's good, I do believe we give the little Skrill a chance for a good life." Meatlug said in her dragon caring way.

By now the riders had gotten Snoutlout back on his feet, "Okay, that was uncalled for, but, I'll get her under control."

Hiccup began,"Snoutlout maybe we should rethink this-"

"No Hiccup, you said we could keep Stryker a learn a thing or two about Skrills." Snoutlout protested once more about the safety of Skryker.

He then walked to the baby dragon by my head and picked her up, "Now if you'll excuse us we have training to attend to. With or without you." Snoutlout hoped on my head and I took him to a private place, it was great for training.

Once back on solid ground Snoutlout laid down logs and told Stryker to jump across them to get to him. She looked confused at first then nudged the first log then hoped on the logs but on the last one she flew and landed in Snoutlout's arms. He smiled and chuckled.

Hours Later

It was near sunset by the time we had finished training. Stryker and Snoutlout were extremely tried, I took them back to the club house were the others were eating. Snoutlout placed Stryker in a homemade nest and sat on a stool.

"Training was great. Thanks for asking!" He exclaimed sarcasticly.

"Sorry Snoutlout, now's not really the time, we have urgent matters to discuss."

Snoutlout stood up, "I see how it is Hiccup. First you said that you were going to help in Stryker's training, but did you do that? No! You ditched me! For once I do something "Geek Worthy" and nether you or Fish-face back me up!"

He said that so loudly that even I flinched a bit.

Hiccup but some papers down and looked at Snoutlout, "I know how much Stryker means to you but we just learned very important information about the Dragon Hunters."

Snoutlout sighed, "Fine. I'll train Stryker again tomorrow and after that you can see what a real Dragon Rider can do."

I huffed then fell alseep.
