All of Levy's bags had been unpacked from the caravan and put near the entrance to the Prince's palace and the servants came out and led her to her assigned bedroom. Lucy stayed in a room next to Levy with a connecting door in the wall so they could access each other easily. As soon as Levy got in her room, she threw herself onto her bed and groaned loudly into the sheets.

She heard heavy footsteps outside her door and a rough knock. "Come in," Levy replied putting her head back on the bed. Gajeel peeked his head around the corner and then walked in, scratching the back of his head with his hand and sticking the other one in his pocket. "What is it?" Levy asked, sitting up and crossing her legs. "I wanted to know if you wanted to go for a walk. With me. Around the gardens," Gajeel finished still looking at the ground. Levy looked a little shocked at first but then relaxed. "Sure. I guess I should, seeing as though I'm forced to live with you," Levy said jokingly. Gajeel looked offended and walked a little closer, "You don't have to if you don't want to. I was trying to be polite." "Okay okay I wasn't starting a war," Levy held up her hands in defense trying to stifle a laugh. "Come on," he said turning and walking out. She giggled and followed after him.

Gajeel walked out the door and almost punched the tall man that was snickering at him. "I swear to the heavens if you mention any of this t-" He was interrupted as he felt a soft warmth on his arm and looked down to see that Levy's hazel eyes were staring at the now transformed black panther. She squealed and ran to hug the big cat. Gajeel groaned and tried to pry her arms off of the suffocating animal. Not another one of those girly girls. "Can he fight?" Levy asked brightly, not being able to contain her excitement. What is with this girl?? Gajeel's puzzled look gave away everything as Levy couldn't stop laughing. The raven haired mage growled as he turned towards the gardens and Levy tried to keep up with his fast pace as Pantherlily trotted happily beside him as his tail swished to the rhythm of the Prince's steps.

The walk was silent and tense at first but soon relaxed into a comfortable silence. Gajeel actually took this opportunity and time to look at Levy because he hadn't before. Without her noticing, he took advantage of the dark and took in her every detail. Her wavy blue locks fell loosely to her shoulder and bounced lightly with each step she took. Her skin looked like silk in the growing moonlight and her arms rested behind her. She was more on the thin side but her lower half made up for that. Her chest wasn't as big as some of the other girls Gajeel had met but he thought they were the perfect size. His eyes traveled down the side of her body and could only wish what her skin felt like. His gaze rested on her hips as they swayed slightly and he had a pretty good view of her ass. Well she's got one good quality. Gajeel thought smirking. He couldn't help but want to touch her. To feel every inch of her body. To explore her. He sighed and looked up to the moonlight as the group kept walking along the path. Levy kept a contented smile on her face as she felt the calming aura of nature and her soon to be husband beside her. Maybe this can work out after all.
