I quickly patted down my white summer dress that was given to me not too long ago on my birthday, well it was my only birthday gift. I tugged the front of my hat inward to block out the strong sunlight and had my brown suitcase by my side. I dipped my foot into the pavement and patted the sandals tip to place my foot back in its place.

Today was the day, I was finally going to meet my new aunt for the very first time.

Her and my uncle Levi got married a couple of years ago, that day before my parents...perished.

The loud roaring sound of the train engine interrupted my thoughts realizing that my train has arrived.  I bent my knees down slightly and grabbed the handle of my suitcase. I held my dress down with one hand to avoid it blowing up as the engine released strong heavy steam. The steam blew my long silky hair every where and my dress blew up... good thing I had my hand on my dress so it would blow up any further. I felt hungry, I didn't have time for breakfast! How could I skip breakfast!

A man with a blue uniform stepped out of the red rusty train, he cupped his hands on the side of his lips and yelled, "ALL ABOARD!!" His loud voice snapped me out of my hunger daze.

I quickly got in line to enter the train. Other passengers were giving out their tickets to the man to enter in. I quickly searched my pockets realizing I didn't have my ticket in my hands, "Where is it.. where is it..?" I mumbled as I rummaged through my pockets. The line kept moving on as I stood still holding every one up behind me searching for some stupid ticket I should have had ready before hand.

I searched my right pocket, no ticket.
   My left, found it!

I quickly grabbed the handle of my suitcase with my free left hand and walked quickly to the man and handed him my ticket, "You should have your ticket ready beforehand ma'm." He winked his right sky blue eye and wiggled his perfect brown mustache.

I smiled awkwardly as I quickly walked in to avoid any further accusations. I felt my face flush red as I walked over to any seat looking straight down and swaying my arms stiffly as I walked.

I found an empty seat and sat on it placing my suitcase down besides me. I let out a soft sigh, relieving myself from embarrassment.

The seat was clearly old by its small scratch marks that teared the soft old red leather and revealed a yellowish foam or cotton from the small tears, the side of the seats as well as the windows were decorated with gold railings that wrapped around the seat of window, and another red seat faced me as well.

I looked out the very clean window as the train finally started to move, "I have a long journey ahead of me... don't I...?" I spoke quietly to myself continuing to look out the window.

It was very radiant outside and I couldn't help but gaze out the window with the amazing flower fields.

I decided to go through the small back pack that I carried on me and found the book I wanted to take with me.

The book had a navy blue blank cloth cover with the name of the book on the spine of it written in gold.

It was about 400 pages long and the book was fairly small, this should keep me busy for a little while.

I opened the book and started reading. I usually skip the author's note, because what's the point of that?

I heard loud footsteps coming my direction and looked up to see who was coming my way with such heavy feet. Then went back to reading.
