BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BE-

I slammed the alarm from my bed. Why the hell is there an alarm clock during the summer? Summer is supposed to be about sleeping in, not waking up at 6:00 am if I'm correct...

I sat up and stretched my arms above me slowly as I let out a yawn. I finally let my arms drop to the pink cover I slept under and looked around me while rubbing my right eye.

"Time for a new day..." I mumbled quietly to myself as I hoisted myself off the bed and made my way toward the drawers, pulled out a pair of sun yellow shorts, and a white sleeveless shirt along with my few undergarments.

I then headed to my personal bathroom to wash my face and brush my teeth. As soon as I finished, I slipped into my clothes and went to the mirror that hung on the wall to fix my hair.

What are my plans today...? I thought as I grabbed my pink brush, grabbed a piece of hair, and started to comb out my knots.

Does uncle Levi and Petra need my help? In what though...? Taking care of the kiddos...? Cleaning the house...? Tending animals or the farm...? I'll just ask when we have breakfast...

Speaking of breakfast... what's for breakfast?

I started to remember the conversation I had last night with Uncle Levi, Aunt Petra, and Levy and Piano.

We caught up and bit while eating rice and salmon sushi, and I got to know Levy and Piano. I never thought someone would name their child after an instrument besides the Viola. Which is pronounced, VI•Oh•La. Doesn't matter, I shook off the thought as I began to brush the other side of my head.

"There's no need for help on the farm, but we might ask you to watch them every once in a while if you don't mind." I remember Aunt Petra's words that went along with her sweet gentle smile. I remembered nodding in agreement, I would like to feel helpful in some way.

I finally finished cleaning up and checked my face in the mirror. I leaned forward on the small table to get a better look. I placed my two fingers on my pale cheek and studied my hair, eyes, and skin.

I frowned, still not satisfied with my looks. But it was enough to go out and be presentable.

I heard a scoff at the door way and even by the evil sensation of his presence, I already knew whom was at the door way.

I felt my face blush knowing the position I was in to him. Why does he always come at the worst time?!

I sat up quickly and saw his dead stare, I'm in a rush to get him back. This could be my chance.

I turned my head to him slowly and eyed him. With the most clam face and tone I could ever put up, I snapped, "You checking me out?"

He snorted, "There's nothing to see." I was in shock, I thought I could finally manage to get him this time.

"What are you doing here anyways?! Huh? What about that?!" I barked pointing at him.

"Breakfast is ready." He hoisted himself from leaning on the door way and started to walk downstairs.

I walked to the door way watching him descend from the stairs, "By the way, your face is not going to change by looking at it!" He hollered from the stairs.
