You were currently buying at the supermarket and saw Itona buying some stuff as well.

You walked up to him and said"Hi Itona-kun, what are you planning to do on the new year?" You asked.He looked at you and said "Nothing in particular. But Koro-sensei did invite all of us to go to the festival" . You said "Okay" in response. He walked towards you and asked "Do you want me to walk you home?". You responded "Sure"

Timeskip~

"Thank you Itona-kun for walking me home." You smiled
He nodded and said "No problem. And can you come with me to the festival?" Itona questioned. You responded with a smile and said "Sure, I am going to go there anyway."
After that, Itona said to pick you up at 7 pm.

You looked at the mirror and checked yourself while twirling in your yukata. You smiled while adding finishing touches to your hair.

Your mom called and said "Y/n!!! Your boyfriend is here!!". You blushed and shouted back "He's not my boyfriend mom!!"

You grabbed your purse before running the down stairs. You see your mom smirking and Itona by the door.
"Have a good night" Your mom said. You responded and smiled "Thanks mom"

As the door closed, you two began to the walk to the festival.

Itona's POV~

As we walked to the festival, I notice her wearing a yukata while her hair is tied into a ponytail . 'She looks pretty' I thought of complimenting her.

"Hey Y/n" I called as she hummed in response.

"She looks pretty" I said as I pointed out a girl infront of a gate. A tick mark appeared on Y/n forehead as she pouted and said "Is that so?" I said "No, I was just kidding. You're the most prettiest girl I've ever met." My voice turned into a serious tone. I smiled as she blushed and covered her face.

Y/n's POV~

My face heated up as he said that. I mentally screamed/fangirled.

"Y/n, we're already here." Itona said. You removed your hands from your face "Oh, I guess we are...heh". I said as I laughed awkwardly.

We both walked inside and see most of our classmates are already here. I heard Koro-sensei said "More came than I expected!. Excellent, excellent. I was considering suicide if no one had shown up." Nagisa and Kayano sweatdropped "I guess we shouldn't have come, then." Kayano said

Nagisa noticed Chiba and Hayami "Chiba and Hayami? Why so glum?" Chiba said "We were banned at the shooting gallery." Hayami added "-It was too easy. We got carried away."
Nagisa sweatdropped

Nagisa noticed me and Itona, he walked toward us.
"Hey Y/n-chan, Itona-kun" He greeted. I waved at him "Hi nagisa-kun, looks like the others are having fun" I said while sweatdropping as I pointed out the others. (You guys know what happened in season2 ep 1 right?)

"Haha....I feel like playing at the shooting gallery but I think that chiba and hayami already got all of the prizes. I wonder if there is some left" I added

I walked toward them and said "Hey guys, do you think that there's still some prizes at the shooting gallery?". Chiba answered "I'm not sure." You sighed and said "Well, at least I can buy some food"

You saw a stall that sells caramel apples and decided to buy one.

Meanwhile Author's POV~

While Itona saw Y/n walking towards the stall, Karma appeared behind him and whispered "Hee~ Itona-kun~ I didn't know you liked Y/n~" he teased. Itona spoke bluntly with his usual monotone voice "Yes. But I don't know how to confess to her." Karma answered "You should confess while the firework display hasn't started. It's a perfect cliché firecracking scene~" He smirked. Itona nodded, completely ignoring the pun.

Back to Y/n POV~

As I bought the caramel apple, I completely forgot about Itona. I quickly went back to find him.
"Itona-kun!" I called only to be met by a large crowd.

Back to Author's POV~

You frantically kept searching for him in the crowd until you were pulled by the arm. You saw who it is "Itona-kun?" He hummed in response and just kept dragging you somewhere until you two were completely alone.

"Why did you take me out here?" You asked curiously.

Itona spoke "I love you Y/n. Will you be my girlfriend?"

You're speechless, you nodded and hugged him and he hugged back too. As fireworks lit up the night sky, you both pressed your lips against each other.

After pulling away, you smiled and said "I love you too Itona"
