I walked down the isle. Slowly but surely. Trying not to trip because if I do well.. I don't know it just wouldn't end great. But, all of a sudden I felt a sharp pain in my neck. I reached up to see what it was.. a dart. Wolfsbane. That's when everything went black.

*Blakes P.O.V*

She was walking down the isle and that's when I heard it. The dart pierced her neck before I could reach her. I smelt it. Wolfs bane. Oh God the pups. I yelled for the doctor and he came rushing through and carried her to the pack house. He took her in a room and told me to wait outside. My sister, yes I have a sister, came up behind me and told me everything was gonna be alright. Everything was gonna be fine. Well at least I hope it was.

It was a couple hours later when the doc came out and told me I could see my beautiful mate. But, when I went in I no longer so that bump on her stomach. When the doc came in and I asked him, "Did they make it?" He just shook his head no. Oh God. She's not gonna be able to take it. "How can I make her forget?" Then the did replied,"Compulsion. But I haven't seen one for centuries." He was talking about the vampires. (Nope not twilight) "I know one" I replied.

I walked through the cemetery headstones everywhere not an inch of life. Not that I would expect it. The trees swayed as if they could snap at any moment. At this point I wish they would so I could end this misery. That's when I spotted one. A demon of no other. He stood there eyes cold as if it was planning to attack. We both know who would win. "What are you doing on my land?" He asked.

"Well as far as I know nobody owns the cemetery. Nobody lives here either unless your dead." The thing smirked. "Well let me rephrase then. What are you here for?" I thought about it do I really want to do this to her? Yes it's for the greater good. "I need you to compel someone for me."

"Is that so? Now what would I get out of this?" He asked. I appeared right in front of him he flinched but stood still. I leant forward and whispered, " You get to keep your life." He nodded understanding that this was life or death. No negotiation.

We appeared at the pack house. Nobody was out and about like a normal day. No cheerfulness in the air just sorrow. The whole pack mourned for my beautiful Harper's child. As did I do gravely. We walked in side I could smell the scent of Harper and I could hear the sobs coming from her room. I rushed up to see her laying on the bed.

She had her head between her knees. She was losing control. I knelt in front of her as she started to tilt her head up to look at me. She lunged in my arms looking for the slightest comfort. I rubbed her back and whispered, "It's ok. I'm gonna make all the pain go away. I promise"

The vampire stepped in and nudged me away. I watched intently as he looked into her eyes and calmed her down. He spoke softly. His eyes turned a warm caramel color as he looked into hers fixing to compel her to forget her sorrows and all her worries so she wouldn't have to hurt again.

"You got hurt in a battle you almost died but you lived. You never had a child with Blake. Your mourning for the loss of some of your pack members. Even though you live in a castle you still have them." Then in a flash of an eye he was gone and Harper sat blinking. "Hey Blake?" I stood in front of her. "Yeah?" She smiled "can I have some food?" I chuckled and agreed.

I was down stairs making food when she came down showered and fresh. She wore short shorts with a cut off shirt. She had no memory. I felt terrible but she was too sad. She sat down and I sat down a play of spaghetti. Yeah I know boring but oh well.

As she ate I watched no sign of sorrow or anything she was happy and for that I was glad. I mindlinked the pack so they know not to bring it up No one is to speak of the baby understood? Anybody who does will be banished immediately.

We invited back all the pack members after we got settled in. It felt more like home that way. I went up stairs to finish paper work. It was endless. I never was gonna get a break. I was working till I heard Harper scream.
